About
Sitting at the gateway to the renowned Napa Valley wine district, Chardonnay Golf Club meanders through acres of lush Chardonnay and Merlot vineyards dotted with sparkling lakes and wandering creeks. Native flora and fauna cover the golf course, which also provides a home for an abundance of wildlife including hawks, foxes, bobcats, and even the occasional golden eagle. Besides the spectacular setting, the layout provides one of the most challenging rounds in the area. The rolling landscape provides interesting elevation changes and there are plenty of mature trees coming into play. Several holes also feature water hazards and strategically placed bunkers. Chardonnay Golf Club's greens are lightning fast and the course plays long. One of the most memorable holes, both for the scenery and level of difficulty is the par-3 eighth. This hole is framed by stunning views of the Valley and it requires some clever shotmaking skills.

Great layout
Had a great time playing this course. Layout was cool with lots of hazards to keep me thinking about the shot I was going to play. It may have been 95 degrees but the cart girl saved my bacon whenever she came along.
Great course, slow play
Beautiful course in Napa with spectacular views. Good value for hot deal on a Saturday. It did come at a price with a 5 hour 15 min round of golf.
A very nice course
I like to play this course. Some holes need a perfect layups, accurate yardage is important.
Have so much fun with my friends.
Great round
Weather was perfect and views are even better. I enjoy how quite this course is. No houses or traffic or anything. Fairways are generous. Greens are small and oddly shaped with lots of undulation, but weren't too fast or anything. Pace was amazing. Sunday morning round and we didnt wait for anyone and had no one behind us.
Slow Pace of Play. Where were the Marshalls?
5 hour round, waiting on each hole, almost on each swing. Foursome ahead of our group quickly fell behind the groups ahead of them. No Marshalls to be found to encourage them to speed up or skip a hole (or two). Excruciating pace ruined an otherwise beautiful day at Chardonnay.
Nice course to play
The greens are pretty challenging, had so much fun. Recommend my friends to play here.
Great time
A very well kept course. Had a great time as always. But a challenge for me as I lost yardage as I aged 😓
Great course
Course is in great condition, pace of play was good. Staff were good and personable.
There seems to be some confusion between Golf Now and the course. Paid for my round through Golf Now including cart, however i was again charged an additional $15 at the course.
Something isn't adding up.

Course was in great condition. Staff were on top of their game with checking people in. Pace of play was good. Always a good challenging course. Best experience I’ve had at the course thus far.

A bit windy at the start but turned out to be a nice day for golf! Tough course for me but managed to play well this time.
Really scenic!
Spectacular scenery. Also spotted a big coyote crossing the fairway.
Greens in great shape; I was told they recently added sand to slow the greens down…they were still fast but so glad they did the sand.
The windy conditions made the course very challenging. But warm day was enjoyable.
No chance for a beer after, since the bar closed early so that was disappointing.
