I normally love playing this course but today was just awful! Got behind a foursome that was playing really slow. I mean they probably averaged at least 20-25 minutes per hole. No starter on the first hole, and no Marshall was sent out when we finally called the pro shop to complain about the foursome in front of us. And even the hot dog place on our way to the ninth hole was closed for the day! I guess the facility was really short staff today. Well, next time we play behind those kind of players, we won’t wait 14 holes to play though again! Lesson learned. A normal 4:15 hrs turned into 5 plus hours even skipping one hole on top of that! I still recommend this course to everyone I know. I just wish the staff will notify players in the future for the same situation.

It started at the driving range, where the range balls looked like they’d been chewed by rats. The hitting area was patchy at best, mostly just hard dirt, and you’re not even allowed to hit driver.

The carts were no better — flat, bald tires and filthy, like they haven’t been cleaned in years. Once on the course, it only got worse. The place was overcrowded, with no Marshall in sight to keep pace of play moving. I saw the drink cart once — on the second hole — and never again.

Course conditions were terrible. The greens were bumpy, the fairways looked like they hadn’t been mowed in a long time, and overall maintenance was clearly lacking. Our round dragged to a painful 5.5+ hours.

To top it off, when we finally finished, we went to grab a beer — only to find the restaurant closed on a Friday afternoon.

Overall, Eagle Vines was a frustrating waste of time and money

This course is good to play. The weather out there was perfect. Can’t wait to play again.,we were having fun anyway.

I played after they had punched the greens earlier in the week. I could barely tell they had been done. I think the course was in great shape my only complaint was the range because it was only 190 yards so wasn’t able to hit anything over a 5-6 iron.

I played this course many times and always look forward to returning. This time was different. The biggest disappointment was the greens. They were slow, chewed up, and bumpy . It’s like putting in a dry Rucky river. Apparently the were punched about a week ago, information that was not provided by Golf Now.

Golf staff at check-in and starter were rude.

Course conditions were poor, punched greens were understandable, but conditions were poor all over.

Range facility is bad

Pace of play was on slower side, but average for 9 mins between tee times

Most likely will not be back

Absolutely a waste of money playing this track. It will be the last time out there for me. Goose crap all over the place. 5.5-6 hour pace. The fairways are choppy and beat to crap. It needs a major overhaul and fast. It was like playing a course that has no money for upkeep and will be going out of business.

Good cost.. I lost one of my Irons ( #6) at Par 3 signature Hall (I think.. #14 hall).

Very good golf course in Napa. Very good layout and cost is also very reasonable.

Tee times are way too close together resulting in extreme backups all over the course. No roving beverage cart and the bar/restaurant closed at 4pm which was disappointing for a Sunday
