had 12:27pm tee time. didnt get off until 12:50pm. no carts available. Pace of play a joke, we only got in 14 holes because they over booked course and tried to get a tournament in during a holiday week. Really poor course operation. 4 hours and only 14 holes. then they had someone come out to call people in because they wanted carts back before dark. they need a marshall to move people along and not to overbook. No value here

This course is back to good shape after aeration. Love to play this course again. In order to avoid darkness, it better plays before 12:15 P.M. Anyway I will recommend to my friends.

Beautiful golf course in Napa Valley. The views here are so nice with the surrounding vineyards. Course in great shape and they just renovated all of the bunkers so the sand plays great. Greens and fairways in great condition too. Highly recommend

I’ve played this course when visiting the area on and off for 18 years. It’s a great layout, in ok condition for the time of year, but standards have noticeably slipped.
Rental clubs - $60 a pop is not cheap, but “premium” Taylor made gear. Yes all Taylor made but the clubs were at least 10 years old and served up in a bag full of holes.
Tee boxes - these are generally a mess - uneven and full of divots. Can’t imagine any reason why these are not maintained.
Greens good for late autumn play.
Service at the club is more than acceptable, they get the hard things right, but don’t nickel and dime the rental clubs and please maintain the course better.
One last point, some local 4 balls playing at 5 hour pace refused to wave faster groups through. Very irritating.

I thought the course was in line for the cost. Tee boxes to greens were all in good shape. One thing I did enjoy about playing Eagle Vines was the receptiveness of the greens. Most courses in the bay region have very hard greens with some pace making it difficult to keep approach shots on the green unless you hit the ball really high or with a significant amount of spin. These greens would hold a good shot just about from any distance, but did putt a little slow. Overall, everything about this course was enjoyable. I will definitely play again when in the area.

Course was in outstanding condition. Fairways were nice, greens were immaculate and pace of play was great. Will definitely return.

This is a really nice course very close to downtown Napa. Apparently part of an original 36 with the Chardonnay club and Johnny Miller influencing the original design.

We played in mid fall and obviously not peak time for conditionals. That said , the layout is very interesting and challenging.

We ate lunch at the bar area and the people were friendly and the food very good.

The front 9 is higher in elevation and fairly straightforward. In wonders through the vineyard. The views are spectacular. The back 9 is along water down in the valley with several very interesting and challenging holes.
The condition was not great. It appears that the maintenance has not been occurring lately, this may be related to the time of year. Several of the t boxes were in rough shape. People had driven carts all over the place and the rough was inconsistent and poorly cut. The geeens were just punched but ina edition, they we not rolled at all and it was like literally putting on shag carpet

The price was very good for the experience. The layout and views amazing. If someone had just paid attention to the greens and boxes, it could be amazing.

I look forward to going back in peak time, after the workers have some more time to clean it up.

Thumbs up. Pace of play a little slow, but marshals did best to keep things moving.
