Eagle Vines Golf Club

This course should be high on your “to play golf” list. It’s a challenging layout and well maintained.

Started on #9. Quit after #18 took well over 3 hours. Our group called pro shop 3 times asking for a marshal because we saw open holes between groups ahead of us. Never saw anyone. This course is definitely gone downhill over time

Played on a Thursday afternoon at our own pace under sunny skies. No bad lies on the fairways, greens were in great shape. Its not a difficult layout and if you play from the back tees the course is quite long. It was a bit windy as we teed off at 2 pm. Maybe that's why the course was pretty wide open and we could play at our own pace. Great experience-- wish I had played better but that's my issue-- nothing to do with the course conditions! Not a great course to walk-- there are some long distances from greens to tees.

Nice wide open fairways. Pace of play was excellent. The fairways are a little bumpy, but tolerable. Lots of beautiful scenery to enjoy while playing.

I would recommend discourse to every golfer. Besides the scenery, which is unmatched, the golf course layout is great and it’s opportunity to test your skills as well as play a nice game with your friends.

Always liked this course! The Geese with poop and feathers are beginning to be a mess. The updated bunkers seem to be loosing sand and not friendly

Layout and conditions are average. It has some character, definitely difficult. Played from the blues and it was very long (73.7 course rating). Greens were in great shape and roll very well, however very undulating and several greens are tiny. It's a tough course, unusual layout with small undulating greens. Conditions were so-so. I was expecting something in better shape considering the location and views. Views of vineyards was terrific. This course could be pretty amazing if it was in better condition.

The only thing I had a slight issue with is the golf cart quality. Most places now have upgraded carts with screens with GPS and food ordering capabilities. For the price per round, one would expect better quality golf carts.

Green was pure and was faithful to the reading. It was in difficult settings for this specific round. Fairway condition was good and free of bare spots. The players coming here need to fill the divots more often (or fix ball marks on the green). Pace was just good enough waiting for 2-3 minutes at times. Finished whole round in 4h 50min. Nearby course had a tournament so the course was fully booked from players overflow from there. So it’s really not bad. The players coming here are typically pleasant to join and play with. Never disappoints.

If you’re visiting Napa don’t waste your money! The carts are the worst I have ever seen at a golf course. Your network off taken a ride to Rancho Solano or paradise valley. Don’t waste your money here . For the amount of money they make off us locals and tourists they could invest more into your practice range which is joke a carts.

Overall, everything was great! There was a party of 9 before me. They tricked the pro shop I’m sure. They had no sense of pace of play nor did they offer to let me play through. I finally just skipped 2 holes so I could play.
