Eagle Vines Golf Club

Extremely disappointing experience at Eagle Vines Golf Course. The course was in terrible condition, and the pace of play was absolutely unacceptable. Our round was approaching six hours, which is ridiculous. Three of the four people in our foursome ended up having to quit early because the pace was so painfully slow.

What makes this even more frustrating is that Eagle Vines has a fantastic layout and the potential to be a really fun golf course when it’s properly maintained and managed. Unfortunately, it’s sad to see how far downhill this place has gone.

Between the poor course conditions and the complete lack of pace-of-play management, the experience was a huge disappointment. It’s a shame to see a course with so much potential deteriorate to this level. Management really needs to step up, invest in maintaining the property, and do something about the pace of play.

Until some serious improvements are made, I wouldn’t recommend playing here.

It was unfortunate that they did not tell us that the greens had been plugged and sanded the day before and they had not brushed them yet. We had putts that actually stopped in a patch of sand. They were out there cleaning up some of the worst greens while we were playing. The tee boxes were in terrible shape and because of that, some of them were set on a sidehill. We chose to just find a flat spot to tee off on. I have played this course in the past and it has never been this rough, I hope it was an anomaly because I like the layout.

Greens had probably been recently aerated and the grass was not tended to for a while. This made most of the greens roll like some fairways and fringes like rough.

The course conditions were rough. Love the layout of the back nine. Front nine is a waste of energy.

Overall great value and a unique course and layout, beautiful greens with tons of undulations.

Took 2.5 hours to play 8 holes. When 3 groups were waiting on the 9th hole I left. No Marshalls to push pace of play. Not a good experience

Couple of soft spots on the fairways. Greens look great but slower than I like. Look forward to playing again

Excellent course in great condition. Played well, not to difficult and not to easy. I will definitely return soon.

This is my favorite course in the north bay. Amazing scenery and really unique.

Well maintained and beautiful layout. Pace of play was great.

The course was well laid out with gorgeous scenery as the holes were surrounded by vineyards. Easy to find your way around golf course. Challenging with excellent greens. We ate lunch inside with excellent tasting food. Highly recommend

Course was nice after a surprise rain the day before. The course wasn't crowded and the weather was excellent.
