Kennedy July
The cart paths are in terrible shape, some of the fairways are also in horrible shape. The greens were in very good shape. It doesn’t seem like the owners care about the condition of the course.
Preferred Course List...
Yep, this course is on that list. You know? The list of courses that no matter how you played, you've got to go back!?! He up on Northern California and has no idea. Great time. A little dry but it's California so all good.
Course conditions have improved
Napa has always had a decent lay out. Conditions have always been the big question mark. To me they seem to being trying hard to clean up the course (trimmed some trees down, cutting the foliage around the areas with water). The worst area is still the 15th fairway which is either under water or completely dried out as it is currently now. A shame to hit a beautiful drive down the middle only to find it’s rolled into hard pan dirt.
Beautiful course
Course was very green and beautiful. The only problem was the corse was very bumpy in the cart
Still a good track
Previously living in the immediate area, I've played this course quite often in the past. First time back in about 6 years. Napa Golf Course is still the same! Neither good nor bad. Greens and tee boxes in good/great condition. Fairways in the same old shape... barren patches here and there, scattered amongst the nice landing areas. Still need a redo of the course drainage to allow the fairways to grow and repair. The asphalt cart paths have gotten a lot worse. For a muni, it's not too bad. If the city/county invested more to correct the drainage issues and make this a golf course a couple steps up... tourists that visit downtown and wineries may make this a stopping point too. Just MHO.
Great course!
I have now golfed here in Napa and love the challenging course. Great pace and very well spread out. Price is awesome!
Great Value
Haven’t played here in over 15 years. I saw it on Golf Now for $41. I played terribly but not because of the course in under 4.5 hours. Will be back soon to play here again
very good for out of towner
Friend from out of town is avid golfer who is a member of a club in Portland area. He was mildly impressed with the course overall.
Avoid this mess at all costs.
This is by far the worst course I have ever stepped on. Fairways full of daisies. Major drainage issues. Horrible pacing and no marshalls anywhere to keep groups moving
The layout is ok, But it’s so tight that any beginners are on the wrong fairway looking for a ball hidden in the aforementioned daisies.
Had one moron actually split off from his group and replay a par 3 on his own while we waited. Marshall was right there but he was too busy talking with players in a front 9 tournament.
Pay a little extra. Avoid this dumpster fire golf course
