greens were air-rated but i like the course lay out

Staff was quick and friendly during check-in. Thus was a fun course to play and I will definitely be back again

They had a GREATLY reduced rate due to recently (4-5 days previously) punched (big holes and lots of sand) greens. However, considering that, the greens weren't terribly slow or causing roll misdirection. So, everything else was as expected....extremely nice (weather wise, pace of play, great strangers for partners, and friendly reception at check-in. It's my favorite course (especially bang-for-the-$) within an hour's drive from my SF home. The 38 miles each way is the only thing that keeps my visits down to approx. once per week.

I am a beginner and this course was tough. Fantastic layout and great staff…10/10 would recommend.

Always loved this course and especially in spring its emerald green all all around with beautiful surrounding scenery. If u havent been or its been awile go and challenge this super fun layout.

The course condition is not GOOD as a 5 star course but pretty acceptable. However, the layout of each hole is amazing. " Driver, attack shot, putting " Do not visit this course without a brain.... Very very serious course in the term of 6150yds & 139 slope.

Hidden Gem

Great legit designed course n very challenging. Loved it. It has been 30 years since my last visit to Hiddenbrook. Look forward to my next round

Ever since toon took this over it’s been improving. Was able to play in three hours and 30 minutes on a Monday afternoon. Greens are FAST. Fairways in good shape. Next to improve would be tee boxes and cart paths. First three holes are brutal but there’s a lot of birdie opps between 4-16. Far better than Eagle, chardonnay, blue rock, and paradise nearby. Rancho is the only course nearby on its level right now.

It's my first time and it is a beautiful course. I can see why people think it's hard. However, if you come from a region where there are hills and mountains...it's very normal. I love the course and it's well kept. You must play it if you are in Napa.

Caught an afternoon tee time and loved this course. Fast, hilly greens made putting very challenging. Nice mixture of open and narrow fairways.

This is the course I play almost once a month for the past year, its main issue is pace of play during busy days as they don’t enforce it so I was glad to be first tee out there, also misfortune that the kitchen was closed so couldn’t get snacks or a drink which on a Sunday on a holiday weekends was kind of crazy especially since they’re charging full rates.

Great golf course. Hitting off grass at the driving range was an unexpected surprise and the golf course itself was in great condition. Challenging layout, somewhat target golf but overall one of the more enjoyable courses I have played in the bay area.
