Golfer Reviews
Not worth the price
Hiddenbrooke is at best a $45 course. They have let it go and it shows. Tee boxes are bad and fairways are not consistent. The greens were the best part but even those were average at best. Needs new management that cares. Lots of potential.
Ehhh…
The course is very technical and if you think you should lay up, just lay up. Some fairways are literally 30 yards wide and they’ve got a bee problem.
Matt H birdies galore!!
I went with three of my buddies from high school one of my buddies. Matt was on fire. He’s never played Hiddenbrooke well and he decided to take control and command of the golf course he was bombing his drives, hitting them tight into the greens. It was a beautiful day out there.Everything was flowing for him. The rest of us had a good time, everybody got a birdie except for me. We will redeem ourselves soon!! Great course always in good shape and very beautiful. Keep up the good work there.
Bunker problems
I love this course and play it when I can get a deal. Layout is challenging and course and greens are usually in good condition. I also like it because there are lost ball penalties waiting if you just wail away from the tee and on approach shots. THE MAIN PROBLEM (like a lot of courses in N.Cal) the bunkers are just hard dirt. WHY is it so difficult to put at least loose dirt if not actual sand in the bunkers?
In one I just raked up enough dirt to make a bunker shot possible then dropped my ball onto it.
Awesome top notch
Unbelievable amount of money just incredible. I can stay on this side of the bay and play Sharp Park for $100 or go across the play they and play hidden Brook, which is awesome for $52. Keep it up boys great job.
Worth the drive from Sacramento
Course in great condition, challenging , driveable par 4, windy hole placement,
used every club in the bag.
July 2026
The pace of play was painfully slow. We skipped 4 holes to try to avoid the slow lace. It worked for a little while, but then slowed again. The greens were in very good shape, some of the tee boxes need work.
