While vacationing on Amelia Island in North Florida, we read the reviews and gave it a try. Everything stated by other we agree with. Worth the 65 minute drive. Right off of I95. We will play again and as of now is a ‘go to’ venue.

We now make this a must stop as we drive through Georgia. Was a bit wet when we started but never rained. Pretty wide open which will always help the pace of play!! Greens rolled true!!

This is just a lovely layout. Front 9 lots of trees with Spanish moss. Back 9 has several holes bordering wide expanse of river and marsh grass. Wide fairways. Greens are approachable for average golfer and not too fast.

Great course in great condition. Playable by all levels of golfer.

My buddy and I played this twice within one week. Super course, great greens, practice facility are all top shelf. If it were not a 45 minute drive from Jax area, we would play this more. Didn’t hurt that I shot 1 over, pretty happy for a 9 handicap.

After playing this course I picked up all "Membership Information". Golf Shop very helpful explaining the membership options. I will be back to sign up for a NON-Resident membership in April. If I was a resident I would be a full time full member. You must check out this clubAAAAAA++++++++

Love Sanctuary. Forgiving and fun layout. Great condition. Pace of play a little slow with no one out there to bump the groups along. Other than that can’t complain.

Great course. Tees and greens were excellent. Fairways were also very nice. Pace of play was very slow. Had a five-some in front of us. NO RANGER!!!!!! NO CART PERSON!!!! It was so slow there was a sixum behind us that was keeping up. Great layout staff was friendly. Just sad the pace was so slow.

Great layout with memorable shots and holes. Bomb and gauge-friendly: generous fairways, especially for coastal course, and there are not houses lining the fairways. Greens running true. Overall course was in great condition. And on top of it all, a solid price point at all hours. Only downside is there are some bugs if the wind gets quiet (just like everywhere down here).

My wife and I played on a terrific weather day. Overall, the course was in fine shape and, in particular, the greens were in very good condition. That said, they were applying fertilizer or top dressing to the fairways and the large, very loud "sprayer trucks" followed right on our backs most of the back nine. Several times when we were up by the green chipping on or putting out...these sprayer trucks were right on our tails, noisily applying their product 30 yards away to the fairway we had just played. Couldn't they have just waited 3 extra minutes and allowed us to clear the green? It was puzzling and very disappointing, to say the least.

This is a beautiful course and quiet frankly isn't talked about enough in the Brunswick/SSI area. The course is always in great shape and the staff is always accommodating. I play here every chance I get and have a buddy coming from over 3 hours away just to play here today.
