Heritage Oaks Golf Club

Unorganized set up. No starter I was supposed to play with two other people they were there or not there nobody knows. I just went off on my own. Groupings were 4,2,1,2,1. Caused backups starting on 7. Some of us decided to group up on our own to increase pace of play. Inside clubhouse was kinda grimy. Restrooms looked like they forgot to rehire the cleaning crew after the pandemic. Just nothing special. Course was good, actually really good. Neighborhood around is very high end and it’s too bad club doesn’t reflect that.

I was on golf trip with some buds in the Brunswick area. We targeted this course as well as Sanctuary Cove, which was closed for seasonal maintenance. We played The Pines @ Jekel Island on day 2. And Heritage on day 3. Nice course. Pretty good good conditions. Greens rolled normally, but not fast or slow. Some undulating. Lots of water (nearly every hole 🕳). Very good practice facilities for warm up. Very friendly staff. The only knocks I had on the course were. It's a nice fun course to play. And overall it just didn't wow us. That thing you're looking for when you're on a golf trip. No big deal. We enjoyed the day. Only slightly disappointed. The last thing. We caught the hot-deal +tax for $68. And that was ok. A little overpriced. But not a lot of choices in that area. Until we caught the deal. We had a tee-time that would have cost with tax, over $90. Totally not worth that price. And that was their afternoon rate.

Play and pace were on point. Would play again, greens were good, fairways were exceptional.

The course is in good shape. The greens roll true and fast. The tee boxes are all flawless and the fairways are in good shape. Bunkers nicely maintained. The cart paths and some areas aren’t the best, but if you are a good player and understand that if the greens, fairways and tee boxes are nice then that’s what matters.

Greens and tee boxes are amazing

Played 18 today for the first time. The course offers lots of challenging layouts and very small greens that require precise placement. Controlling shots off the tee is a must as there are plenty of hazards in play.

Would recommend a visit

Played last week and it was good but after some rain this week it looked real good. Greens were excellent and the course just looked green. Definitely improved in just a weeks time. Highly recommend

Love the layout, love the greens. I usually pick out the time of day that is less crowded! I don’t like slow play!!

Course is in very good shape. A few greens weren’t perfect but rolled nice. Pace was fast as there wasn’t hardly anyone out there. Overall a good day and I highly recommend especially if u get a hot deal.
