Heritage Oaks Golf Club

Although the course was wet and it was cart path only, we enjoyed our round. The greens were in good shape and reasonably quick. Fairways were in great shape.

I know the weather has been extremely hot, but most of the fairways, and tee boxes have held up to it. The greens- not so much!! They definitely are the worst I think I've seen, now to be fair, not ALL of them, but a good majority. Hope this is just a fluke as I absolutely love Heritage!

The course was very well maintained!!! The Pro Shop staff friendly and accommodating! Wish they were closer to home would play often!!

Four of us take a "coast golf trip" three or four times a year, and this course is always "on our tour". Bubba Clark and his staff are always welcoming and friendly. The course has always been maintained very well. What needs improvement the most is the quality of our play. Everything else is so very enjoyable at Heritage Oaks!

Got to the course everything was on time gentleman in the clubhouse gave us 2 range tokens so we headed to the range! While on the range there was 3 mowers, 2/3 proceeded to stop as they seen us warming up on the range! The third began to cuss us out loudly screaming saying the range was closed and that we was told this in the clubhouse although we was never told! I won’t be back due to this, you can’t have groundskeepers acting like children on a course and expect people to come back!

This course is usually a good value course, especially on a hot deal. This play however was mediocre and the course should have warned of recent aeration. The punched greens happened a little over 2 weeks ago but the greens haven’t responded at all. No true rolls all day. I would check that the greens have healed properly before playing again as driving from Savannah without notice of not great greens was a real vibe killer. Teed off at 2 on a Thursday however and pretty much had the course to myself so that was awesome.

Unorganized set up. No starter I was supposed to play with two other people they were there or not there nobody knows. I just went off on my own. Groupings were 4,2,1,2,1. Caused backups starting on 7. Some of us decided to group up on our own to increase pace of play. Inside clubhouse was kinda grimy. Restrooms looked like they forgot to rehire the cleaning crew after the pandemic. Just nothing special. Course was good, actually really good. Neighborhood around is very high end and it’s too bad club doesn’t reflect that.

I was on golf trip with some buds in the Brunswick area. We targeted this course as well as Sanctuary Cove, which was closed for seasonal maintenance. We played The Pines @ Jekel Island on day 2. And Heritage on day 3. Nice course. Pretty good good conditions. Greens rolled normally, but not fast or slow. Some undulating. Lots of water (nearly every hole 🕳). Very good practice facilities for warm up. Very friendly staff. The only knocks I had on the course were. It's a nice fun course to play. And overall it just didn't wow us. That thing you're looking for when you're on a golf trip. No big deal. We enjoyed the day. Only slightly disappointed. The last thing. We caught the hot-deal +tax for $68. And that was ok. A little overpriced. But not a lot of choices in that area. Until we caught the deal. We had a tee-time that would have cost with tax, over $90. Totally not worth that price. And that was their afternoon rate.

Play and pace were on point. Would play again, greens were good, fairways were exceptional.

The course is in good shape. The greens roll true and fast. The tee boxes are all flawless and the fairways are in good shape. Bunkers nicely maintained. The cart paths and some areas aren’t the best, but if you are a good player and understand that if the greens, fairways and tee boxes are nice then that’s what matters.
