Rainy Day

If you live in NE Fl or SE Georgia you know how much rain we have had. The course was in amazing shape and very playable after a hard overnight and early morning rain. We had a few spots of standing water but any other course would have had to close. Rain or shine Sanctuary is one of my favorite golf courses to play.

Excellent Course

Excellent course and the friendliest staff I’ve ever interacted with from check in to the starter. Only bad thing is that they don’t offer rain checks so with my luck the bottom fell out and we only got to play 8 holes. I would’ve loved to finish all 18 while I was down in this area but definitely will be back as the course is top tier.

Dull

Lots of rain recently, but based on topography this course likely retains water whenever it rains. Left footprints in the turf (unlike other courses in the area). Looks like pretty good conditions (greens slow but plenty of grass). Biggest negative - course design is like a cow pasture and has no imagination (par 3’s are the exception. If you like challenging golf, choose someplace else.

Country Club

Beautiful course. Longer and challenging Par 3's. The Greens have been recently 'punched', but still rolled true and better than many other courses. I look forward to returning on a bit drier day.

Pro Shop staff was welcoming and engaging.

Hidden gem

Great track a little off the beaten path. Course got a lot of rain the week we played (and while we played), so it probably didn't play true. But a great layout and good condition. Will def be back.

Golf at 98 Degrees

My sons and I played midday today when it was 98 and sunny. Club had cold waters for golfers. Course was in pristine condition. Great practice areas at the beginning and attractive neighborhood + forest + marsh setting.

Beautiful course. Staff was very friendly and helpful upon arrival. Nice space to warm-up with complimentary range balls, a chipping area and a large putting green. The course itself was in great shape from tee to green. The carts were great, with GPS, and the cold bottled water was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend the short drive from St Simmons Island if you're in the area!
