The Golf Club at Chapel Ridge

This course has a good layout and overall is not the worst in the world given the price. The greens are in better shape than what I have seen in the past, however they are some of the slowest I have ever experienced. Overall the course was ok, but the bunkers are absolutely unplayable. Most are heavily washed out with exposed stone, beds, and drain pipes. They appear they haven't been raked in months and this is really the courses biggest flaw following slow greens. Its ok to play every once in a while, but I don't know how soon I would do it again considering these issues.

Took 25 minutes to get hotdog and fries on turn. Food not so good.

I really like Chapel Ridge . But what keeps me from loving Chapel Ridge is the greens. They are way to slow. I have played here dozens of times and they are always slow. You have to play every approach shot,every chip or pitch,every putt super aggressive.You hit greens and get absolutely zero roll.

THE GREENS ON THIS DAY SUCKED.!!! They need serious haircut.

Greens were a little slow and bumpy but still good and will get better with a little time.

Played 18 with my 5 year old daughter at 1:00 PM. We took our time and were still able to get through the round in just over 3 hours. Greens were fair a little slower than I would like but can't complain.

Bunkers were in poor shape but I think I only ended up in 1. Just rake and place it. Layout was fun but not unfair. Will go back its worth the drive from Apex.

Course is in good shape, pretty straight forward. There is a ten dollar fee if you’re concerned about contracting covid and don’t want to ride with a complete stranger. Guy who works the pro shop, I think his name is Paul, is one of the most unfriendly people I’ve ever had the misfortune of encountering.

Course is in decent shape but the bunkers aren’t at all manicured. I only play here when The Preserve is booked.

Greens still slow and bumpy from mid-March aerification. Turf in fairways OK but not fully grown in and lots of weed grass. Pace of play was slow- no ranger help in speeding up slow groups!!

Clubhouse staff member was friendly and helpful. The course was not busy on a Monday afternoon so we got out a little earlier than our tee time. We played at our quick pace since we didn’t see anyone in front of us until the 18th tee box. The course was in Okay shape, some weeds in the fairways and bunkers were washed out and not maintained. Greens were slow but consistent. I’d recommend playing here when you get the right deal/price.
