UNC Finley Golf Course

The course has gone through many changes in the last few years and their prices are a little too high for me to play it as often as before. It’s been around a couple of years since I played it last, but it is in the best shape that I’ve ever seen it….greens, fairways, bunkers are all in perfect shape…the natural beauty of the course is breathtaking. Would love to play it more often and wish it would be a little more affordable !

Greens rolled true and fairways and tee boxes with in wonderful shape. Easy course to walk and bunkering is superb. Was pleasantly surprised because there were plenty of negative reviews but easily one of the best public courses in the area.

This course is great. The greens were challenging and all else spectacular!! Bummed there was no cart out on a Labor Day with a packed course. The snack shack is out of business so it was water only Otherwise a great experience!!

Stunning Course with tremendous layout. However super hard with no gimme shots and lots is hidden trouble. You must be sharp and focused 9r this course devours you.

Long par 4's and very short par 3's. Feels like they didn't know exactly what to do with available land. Sometimes when you play the routing and layout feels like it fits naturally, not here. Feels.to me.like they struggled to get distances right.

Approach shots are well designed. Greens have much more.undulation then you can see. Impeccable greens. Perfect conditions.

Staff was great. Just my usual thought about pricing. Just not worth $100+.

Even with the construction around the location and the recent heavy rains that resulted in cart path only, I would highly recommend. Enjoy!

The course was in great shape, if playing from the gold tees, the par 4’s are monsters! That’s where you have to really pay attention.

It helps to know the greens, some are very big and have tiers. Knowing the depth will help you hit to the flag versus being short and having difficult long putts!

Finley consistently has good course conditions and the staff is always friendly. I’m always happy to play a round there.

The course was in Excellent condition pace of play was great and overall experience was great. I definitely will be back soon to play again!

The course is in very good condition given the dry conditions lately. The pace of play was very slow.. We waited 20min to tee off on a hole. After about 4hrs, we left at the 14th hole. It is disappointing a course ranger/player assistance was not on the course to expedite play. We will not return anytime soon.

Great course for only getting to see the front 9. Will definitely be back to play a full round.

Staff is awesome played with the assistant pro of the course The course is only 9 holes wish I knew before purchasing.

It just didn’t hit the mark for me. Maybe it’s better in summer but everything about the course itself was underwhelming for a “UNC” course. Par 3 tee mats were a real bummer.

Staff were great, food was great.

Wasn’t notified on Golfnow that only 9 holes open. Mats on par 3 tee boxes. Greens very fast, course dry and firm but carts on path. It’s not a great experience right now.
