Great layout!
I’ve been playing Chapel Ridge for a decade now. I always enjoy the layout and staff. But I was really rushed to finish the round due to the slow play of the groups ahead of us. The course really needs a ranger to help keep play moving.
A Favorite
One of my favorite courses in Triangle area, course is always in good condition, layout is great, can be forgiving for hackers (me) and a challenge for serious players. Recommend it for anyone
New Bermuda greens
After the new greens went in this is now my favorite course in the area. I've played here 4 weeks in a row, some of those twice in the same week so maybe 6-7 rounds. Pace isn't usually that slow. Will continue playing through 2022. I feel a little OCD fixing other peoples ball marks on the brand new greens because Id hate to see them go to crap. So fix your ball marks people!
Great track - worth the drive
Interesting holes with ample elevation changes. Challenging and fair layout- looking forward to return visit.
Had to play it again
Course is awesome, can't beat the deals. Wide open spaces ... fairways are nice as are the greens. A little beat up today as they had players in the morning for their PAT rounds. That being said, this place is my IDEAL golf course ... challenging, spacious, sprawling, beautiful. Has some really memorable golf holes for sure !!
Scenic
Gorgeous course, with variety of elevations that allow for scenic views.
Hidden Gem
I had been waiting for them to finish installing the new Bermuda greens, and it was worth the wait! Fun layout with a couple risk/reward drivable par-4s. Everything was in fantastic shape from Tee to Green. Staff was friendly, and the starter/ranger was awesome! This course is a bit of a drive, but it'll be a regular stop for me going forward!
cold blustery day
We had an early tee time on a brisk windy morning. Never saw the group in front or behind us and finished in 3 1/2 hours. The greens are getting faster after they were replaced last summer. This course is not as difficult as some nearby but still a good challenge from the back tees.
Couples brings the goods
One of my favorite tracks in the triangle. Fred Couples does not disappoint, and neither did the new greens! Love how long (and wide) this course is. Lots of open space, and the sand is always fluffy (albeit a bit too inviting!) Will be back often.
Everything was great
Course is always excellent. Great layout. New Bermuda greens are in excellent shape..
The Greens are Ready ... for an ACE !
Waited about a year to play here after hearing the greens were lost last year. What a course. Greens were replaced and coming in nicely. Great layout. Massive piece of property. Long winding cart paths through the golf course/woods/ & neighborhood. Had a great time. My girlfriend who I brought into the game 18 months ago ... had a Hole-In-One on #12 !!! Seriously !!! AMAZING !!
Heading back real soon. Highly recommend this place.
