#17 I think this should be the signature hole. Enough balls in the lake to make it look like an Easter Basket. Lol Photo submitted by Geno7176732 on 09/27/2016

Temporary greens
Seems like a great course didn’t realize when I went that they had temporary greens. I will not be going to a course again during that but I am excited to come play when they are done.
Beautiful Course
The course is very pretty and we liked the layout. The only drawback were the temporary greens. That will change in mid-September when the new greens are open.
All holes are being aerated.
This golf course should not be open. I did not get putter all holes because all greens are bloked.
Great Course (especially once they finish the greens)
We played Chapel Ridge this weekend, and they are currently in the process of changing over their greens. Therefore, they placed a "pin" at the end of each fairway, and you basically played to within 15 ft of the pin. It was a fun round and you can see that, once they get the greens in place, it is going to be fantastic. We knew about the greens prior to the round, and the price was adjusted accordingly, so no complaints there. All in all, good round, a fun/different way to play (especially for beginners), and when the greens are back up and running, a good/challenging course.
Great course
It’s a great course, great layout and fairways are in great condition. The greens are being redone right now, so they have temporary green. Which is basically a hole in the fairway about 20-30 yards short of the greens. Other than that I would recommend it.
You get what you pay for.
Golf Now did not indicate that ALL 18 greens are being converted to Bermuda and that temporary greens at end of fairways were being used. In addition, bunkers were terrible.
I like lemonade
I was very disappointed with my initial discovery that the greens were being converted to Bermuda... which I think is awesome... but I expect a hot deal to be a deal. I quit using golf now for a reason. Maybe it's my fault and I didn't see the fine print ... if that's the case, then maybe it shouldn't be fine print, or I should be more observant. Anyway, I really like the course and would recommend it to anyone. When they get done with the job, it should be great. Give it a while before you play. 18 temporary greens... I had fun Anyway.
It's not worth the your money
DONT PLAY THIS COURSE THE GREENS ARE BEING REDONE 2K YARDS short.
Wonderful day on a hot 93* day
I love the heat so I was golfing with no one in front or behind me.
Great course, great staff.. could've gone at a better time though
A buddy of mine and I played this course July 2021 and while the staff was great and we had a great time, the course is currently using temporary greens which we didn't find out about until we got there as it wasn't mentioned on the booking info. So while that was a bummer, we did still enjoy the course and would definitely come back and would recommend others to try this course out, but would suggest waiting until the greens are finished (I think they said mid-september) unless you'd just like to go get some swings in.
Nice Course But Greens Are Undergoing Conversion To Bermuda Grass
Overall this is a very nice course and I enjoy playing it. My problem with todays round was that when I arrived and noticed hardly any cars in the parking lot I knew something was amiss. Since I play in a golf league at one of the sister properties to Chapel Ridge and our course had just undergone greens aeration I suspected when I booked this tee time and the cost was so reasonable that possibly the greens had just undergone aeration like my league course. As I approached the clubhouse to check in I spotted the big as day sign indicating the greens were undergoing conversion to Bermuda grass and all play would be to temporary greens. We decided to play anyway just for the practice. My first complaint is about the fact that the "temporary" greens were nothing more than a flag and hole in the fairway. That was it - no circle chalked out to shoot to which would have made it easier. My second and biggest complaint is to TeeOff / Golfnow for not indicating on the website that the greens were being upgraded to Bermuda grass and play at this course would be to temporary greens. The young man in the clubhouse that checked me in said that they had reached out to GolfNow about the greens project and apologized to me when I said there was nothing on the TeeOff website about it. At least we were able to play and practice and we made do the best we could with the temporary greens. I will be looking forward to seeing how the greens are once they re-open in mid September.
This course is under maintenance - Greens are being replaced
The course was a great value since the greens are being replaced and they are using temp greens created about 50 yards short of the actual greens - this was no problem but it was not mentioned in the app and we found this out at the course. My main issue is that the rest of the course needs additional maintenance - Its like they stopped doing some upkeep on the course like weeds in fairways and around tee boxes. All of the bunkers were in very bad need of new sand as the current conditions were more like waste area with rocks, hard sand, and red clay than a normal bunker
temporary greens all around...
i had not been to chapel ridge in 3 years.... and always like the course... just a bit of a drive for me. anyway, sad to hear they were playing temporary greens all around. these are not "greens" ... just fairway with a pin in place. anyway, layout of course is very nice... figured it would be quick 18. new greens will be bermuda and are presently seeded and being watered... probably won't open until october. only disappointment is that all fairway bunkers are being ignored as well..... looks like they are doing next to nothing for weeds, maintaining bunkers, etc...... that is sad. i won't be back until well after new greens open up... "temporary greens"... shouldn't be an excuse to let the rest of the course go.
Temporary greens and course and golf now did not inform me before I played. Nothing on golfnow stated that greens would be temporary. I showed up and nobody in the clubhouse said anything either. I found out as I went to hit my first approach shot.
Chose a different course till next year
No greens or sand yet they want you to treat the course likes pine hurst. Slow and rude staff. I’ll find a different course till maybe next year. Hopefully things change
