About
Shorecliffs Golf Course wanders through the coastal canyons and valleys of San Clemente, heading towards the beautiful shoreline. Situated just steps from the ocean, the course enjoys cool ocean breezes and a temperate climate, which makes it a year-round haven for golfers. Its location also provides the golf course with plenty of scenic ocean views. The course features narrow fairways tightly lined with trees and small greens bordered by sand bunkers. The front nine is shorter and requires more accuracy than the longer, wider back nine. Shorecliffs opens with one of the trickiest par-5s in the area. This dogleg left hole features trouble both left and right. Although the layout does offer a fair challenge, players of all skill levels will feel comfortable taking on the golf course.

An average course that once was a good test of golf.
The course is in a state of flux with most of the challenging holes, being made into two holes, while they are improving the course. Will be interesting to see how everything turns out. Mostly play here due to friends that play here. The weather is almost always terrific, so no matter what the physical circumstances can still have a good day on the on the course.

Lots of distractions
Lawnmowers and gardeners on every hole, blowing dust and grass in your face as you tee off. Appreciate not being paired with others, but the pace was slower today than other days. Very friendly Marshall. Will play again.

No Masks Required
Masks are not required at this golf course at club house. Husband was harassed at urinal for wearing one. Bad energy from some people. Sad.

Great course for the price. Ocean view, interesting layout keeps it fun. Would play again for sure!

Weekend golfer
I haven’t played this course for like 8 years today was the first time back and I’m very impressed seeing this course is getting some improvement and the green are great condition but the only drawback are around 6 I was on the 17th hole there were a group of golfers were wearing regular t-shirts and some were tank tops and they were being very loud and arguing about who’s hitting next that just ruins the moment for me

It was ok. Improvements on the way
Super narrow fairways, the driving range is also narrow, besides that it’s overall a decent course. There is improvements going along, so I’m sure it’ll be better once construction is done. Ended up leaving 30 minutes late from my tee time, so I was bummed out about that and ended up playing with people who was 40 minutes behind their time also. I guess that’s the downfall when you have to replay the first 9. But we ended up getting lucky and they opened up the back 9. I’ll say overall just an average rating

Pretty dank
Besides the poor timing of massive construction going on, the course was good and the sun came out around the beginning of the back nine. Would recommend 8/10!

Under Construction
Booked this course with the understanding that I would be playing the back 9 twice for $38 according to the GolfNow booking site.
Instead the back was closed and only the front was available and only 7 holes of the front were open. The first hole was closed for construction and the 9th hole is on the closed back side.
This was a complete rip off by GolfNow and I'm trying to find a way to contact them to get my money back.
I don't hold the course responsible but they should not be charging full price for this mess.

Ok
The course is still under repair but it still tough.Shot 80 from the blues and could’ve done better.. The greens are receptive and rolling true. Bring your A game cause the fairways are narrow with trouble on both sides.

Full course not open
Only nine holes open for play and had to play same back nine twice.

BAD Customer Service
Very young & non polished at pro shop not willing to accommodate even through Covid emergency. Take your $ elsewhere.
Only game in town
Greens were fast but in good shape. Recent rains have helped the fairways. Looks like they are continuing to improve the course. The staff was great! They were very good at getting everyone off on time.
