Shorecliffs Golf Club

Always enjoy the folks at this course with a good laid back attitude and always lots of laughs in the clubhouse, no hot head idiots going for their PGA cards. I am glad they finally got the 7th hole thing figured out for the homeowners and the course. However, it would be nice if they put the changes on the website about the hole being under construction. Just saying that would be a common courtesy.

I, for one, really like this course. Great greens and the fairways are far improved. Got to hit the ball staight or you're in big trouble

Enjoyed the course even though they had a couple shorter holes because of some construction. The greens were a bit bumpy and the fairways a little rough. But a fun tough course. Love the layout with different elevations!

I like this course but had landslide and modified the course. They made an alternate but no one tells me at starter.

Overall enjoyed and will be back again.

The club house & restrooms are in need of remodeling. It is stuck in the 60's with repair needed, But other than that the course is well maintained and offers reason green fees for what you get. a few holes are narrow which makes it more challenging, as not to hit a house or lose your ball in the thick brush. I've played here a lot to tune up my handicap. The people are very nice and you don't get a lot of people pushing you to hurry up. All in all it is a pleasant experience to golf here.

DO NOT play here if you really intend on golfing. It is a joke, mats at the range and no real practice facilities, mat not grass at the range and single pushing you all the whole whole your waiting on a hacking foursome in front of you! Any real golfer of any real level will hate these conditions and not play to your level. I would never play here again!!! Waste of my time when time for me is limited! Wish I'd gone elsewhere to play even if it cost more!

This course has some major issues with construction... confusing layout and no warning from Pro shop. The staff was unprofessional and quite rude... NO respect for customers. Total waste of time and money... pay fee more bucks and go somewhere else with much better course and nice staff members to accommodate customers. Worst experience overall!!

Changed #9 to a short par 4 and a par 3, also the old #11 par5 to a short par and par 3. Works fine for me. Greens were a lil bumpy and don't hold very well but its golf. For $35 on a holiday its really unbeatable.

The layout and atmosphere of this course was and still is fantastic! Love Shorecliffs :)

Under renovation so detour around course makes it a challenge but low cost so worth putting up with the work

I've played this course quite a few times over the last year and always enjoyed it. But the last time out I discovered the course has gone through some changes I was not aware of. Par used to be 71 and it is now 68. It appears they have taken out 2 holes and converted some other from par 5 to a 3 and a 4. We also weren't told of the changes so it was a bit confusing going from the 4th to the 5th. I suppose it wasn't that big a deal, but it would have been nice if hte starter had told us before we went out. Especially for the price we paid. I'm not sure the course is the value it used to be. I will say that going off at 8:30 we only had a single in front of us so the round went pretty quickly. My guess is that the cost was lower in the afternoon because the first tee was 4 groups deep when we finished our round.

well my buddy said hey lets try this course its inexpensive............... dear jesus this is one of the worst courses ever! horrible shape, most of the holes make no sense, odd tee box placements, all you need are the clowns teeth. this course is for bad golfers that live in San Clemente with nothing to do, bad golfers or too cheap to play a real course.... UGHHHH
