Very wet/muddy ! Would be much better in Summer
I thought course was well later out. Nice 9 hole course, greens where excellent, fairway playable only!
Will play again but only in the dry season!!!!!!
Staff member said we needed to pay in person as the golf now app only reserves it. Made us pay and today I have been charged by GolfNow. First time using app and golf course. Let down by both
Wet weather golf!
Difficult to truly assess the course as we played after two days of heavy rain making the uphill holes particularly difficult. Enjoyed last last hole!
The is close to me, so I thought I would give it a go, have heard mixed reports. The condition of the course and the maintenance of the course has definitely improved since the last time I played it last year, however it really struggles with anytime of rain. The fairways where very soft for this time of year and even have a few balls plug ( in August). It's a nice little course when dry, but a touch on the expensive side for what you get currently.
Great value, nice course.
Got a hot deal , never played here before . Just on my own for a practice , this was more than good enough. I thought it was great value , The course , especially the greens were in great condition. Rare bit of good weather here in Belfast helped too! Looking forward to returning.
I had never played Cliftonville and it came up on Golfnow for £10, so I said let's give that a go, it was as I said spot on, 3 or 4 challenging holes, it's not Royal Belfast or Belvoir, but for £10 I wasn't expecting a finely manicured course, Greens where true good pace, the only fault that I have is, that there mowers don't collect the grass, clumps of dead grass everywhere, it looks unsitely, but for a tenner well worth it.
Cracking course in Belfast not a big park but keeps u swinging ...1st 3 greens not great but winter hasn't helped....booked on last minute and for only £11 on a Sunday ud be hard pushed to get better value
Only person on the course
I was the only person out this morning when I played. I played 18 holes here which was very enjoyable on a course close to home. The only problem that I did find that the greens were very sandy in preparation for the winter.
mud litter kids running around sweet papers every where even a dog running around a Kerry blue a big dog people jumping in front off you. no one shouts 4 dangers place will not be back
Backdrop to the Cavehill
excellent value for money and very convenient to Belfast
decent wee course
I played this course yesterday and have to say that it was in excellent condition considering the previous day there hag been an absolute deluge. the greens and fairways were decent condition although i did have to lift and place a few times just to protect the course. The only real issue I did have was that the guy in the pro shop said that I had only paid for 9 holes when I specifically paid for 18 on booking,,,,,nevertheless a good test of golf on a course that has really improved in condition in the last few years
Good test on well maintained course
greens where in great condition, and the course is a good test. I played 9 holes and thoroughly enjoyed my round.
