Lovely parkland course
Can’t say enough about the staff and how helpful everyone was - great course in great condition

A superb course with nice wide fairways. Made to feel very welcome by staff and members.
Excellent!
A thouroughly enjoyable round of golf. Very good value for money. A well routed mature parkland layout that has a great variety to its holes. I was pleasantly surprised by the conditioning of the course.
Shandon
Played Shandon plenty of times and I love the course we got it on a hot deal for £21 which was a bargain
We had a bit of rain the day before but it was 17 degrees
The fairways where very wet Shandon just does not hold the water well at all
When I phoned the pro shop for a price I was told £55 which I’m afraid it’s just not worth
Good course in the summer but I’d avoid if there’s been any rain
Very nice course, good bar and friendly staff
Course was great, played it in a rare spell of sunny weather and it was in great shape. Will definitely return
A Bad Day
Called before I booked. Cost was £45 for hollow tined greens and sandy fairways. (They could have warned us) But the greatest sin was the 2.5 hours for 9 holes. They could have warned us that a society had overbooked or that the course was in bad shape despite the full price. Was going to be dark before we finished with 8 people on the 13th tee we called it a day after 12. Very disappointing as I enjoyed this course 2/3 years ago.
If you can get this course mid summer with no groups ahead, I’d recommend giving it a go. But I won't sing its praises anymore.
Shandon so poor
Shandon is normally a really nice course to play but unfortunately with the weather lately it’s a bit of a mess at the minute only 13 holes open yesterday. Was good of them to ring beforehand and let us know ( nice friendly guy on at the club shop) hopefully it the weather improves it will soon be back to its usual standard
Great course and very well looked after, great price using Golf Now.
