About
Bartow Golf Course is a municipal course that offers an affordable yet challenging round. The course has a classic design with an interesting mix of holes that range from being wide open to narrow and tree lined. The postage-stamp-sized greens demand accuracy and there are also a few strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides. Build up your score on the front nine before tackling the tougher back nine. The golf course has enough challenges to keep more advanced players satisfied but it's forgiving enough to appeal to beginners as well. One of the most memorable holes is the par-3 13th. There is a tree that stands right in the middle of the fairway, forcing you to either go over or try to get around and risk going in the sand trap.

This course is not and probably never will be, well maintained. But, with that being said, the course has some interesting and challenging holes and is fun to play occasionally. Rates are reasonable so go for it!

Course was in as good shape as I've ever seen it, but greens are still thin.
Donald Ross Municipal Gold Course
This course is challenging, but fun. It's one of the flattest courses I've ever played. Most of the greens are elevated in true Donald Ross fashion. I played it in the winter so the Bermuda grass was dormant, resulting in some pretty tight lies. The greens were in excellent shape.
If you are a fan of Donald Ross designs, then this one is worth a look. And the cost is inexpensive (weekday greens fees + cart was less than $30).

Met friends from west coast. Good half way point. Friendly staff. Convenient eady going golf. No frills, just fun. Good value. Wiil br back
Bartow Golf
Staff very friendly, good course layout with good greens. Fairways were a bit bare (not a lot of good grass)
Play was good until.
We made the turn went to the clubhouse and a group of golfers they let start on #10 jumped in front of us slowing down play for us. Don’t understand why they let people do that. Something needs to done about that.
Course improving. Nice new sand in traps. Greens looking a lot better. I'll be back.
Nice Course
We have played this course before and enjoyed it once again. Some challenging holes and others are relatively easy. It's a fun course and the pro staff was very friendly and helpful.
Had fun
A great course to have so fun on, greens were a little slow, looked to have been reseeded ?? but in all the course is in good shape. Will return to play again.
