Will I be back ……….DEFINITELY YES!!! Course in great condition. Greens had just been spiked but that didn’t spoil a great round of golf. Light breeze, sunny day and the view out onto the lough brilliant!! Greenstaff very friendly and accommodating. Would recommend to anyone especially at the Hot Deals piece!!

Don’t generally play 9 hole courses but this is a nice wee course with some nice holes. Playing twice was no issue and allowed to correct some mistakes from the first 9. We would definitely recommend it and will definitely be back.

Temporary green on the first and mats on fairways but it’s winter so to be expected

Class little course sea views to die for, looking accross the irish sea to scotland is a fantastic backdrop, one of the best 9 hole course in GB with 2 separate tee placements to play 18 holes, faboulous litle course with great beutiful Scots pine trees surrounding the course

First time playing Helens Bay will definitely be back great course great views as well.

Greens were sanded a bit too much. No staff present at 0800 tee off time.

The grounds staff do an amazing job with this tight interesting beach side course.

Very enjoyable for all levels of golfer, beautiful scenery.

Nice course, well layed out for a 9 hole course not to tricky for a bigginer but still challanging for regular players. Need to be accuate enough but can get away with the odd wayward one ecxept for the 6th, if you slice it or fade it to much your out of bounds and on the beach that runs the full leanth of the hole on the right. Fairways and greens immaculate greens not to fast or slow just run at a good pace. Locals and members very friendly / helpfull, will def be back to play again and would recomend playing this course.

We had a great golf day at Helens Bay. We teed off at 8am -the sun was shining and the course was pristine and what followed was 4 hours of a really enjoyable game of golf!

Just more from a constructive point of view: The pro shop wasn't open during the time we were there and luckily enough we had golf balls etc but feel it should be open especially for early starters. The bar / restaurant also wasn't open throughout the time we were there and once again we would have liked to have had some lunch and a drink after our golf. Hopefully these 2 issues can be resolved as I feel it would greatly enhance the experience of any other visitors playing on the course.

The course is situated by the sea, at 1st tee off you will have the view of the Lough. We played at 7:30am and the weather promised to be a good sunny day.

Easy course to play on, the quality of the course is well kept especially the greens.

Very friendly staff working there.

I will return time and time again because the pace of play is quick.
