About
The 7,037 yard Clyde Johnston design at Eagle Landing weaves through the Florida landscape and takes on a vintage feel as he incorporates several of the classic design holes from around the world into the par-72 layout.
"My goal, says Johnston is to intersperse classic holes such as the Redan Hole, the Eden, and the Cardinal into the routing in order to lend a sense of purity to the golf experience at Eagle Landing. Those individual designs are so technically and aesthetically complete that they can truly elevate a golfing experience."
Johnston's philosophy in designing a Club course remains the same as his other courses; begin each nine relatively easy and progressively get harder. The Eagle Landing course offers six sets of tees, from championship to youth tees, allowing the course to play as easy or as difficult as desired. Johnston's previous designs in northeast Florida include Eagle Harbor Golf Club, St. Johns Golf & Country Club, and Jacksonville Golf & Country Club.
Eagle Landing also offers a magnificent golf clubhouse with sports bar, fully-stocked pro shop, his and her locker rooms, and an elegant restaurant overlooking sparkling water and lush fairways. The staff of PGA professionals will coordinate a host of exciting tournaments and events on the course and in the clubhouse.

Golfer Reviews
5 hr round. Waited on every hole.
The course was in pretty good shape, but the pace of play was terrible. It was a 5 hr round of golf and would of been longer if the foursome directly in front of us had not dropped out. We waited on every hole.
The greens were great and true very fast!!
We played on a monday and really enjoyed the course. Lot's of sand and challenging holes. Quiet and peacefull course surrounded by beutiful homes throughout the course. Just an enjoyable place to play golf !! I will definately be back to play this course.
Nice course. Enjoyed it
The course was in great shape despite the recent cold weather. This was my secone time playing it and I will definitely return. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Uploaded a picture of some turkeys we saw on one of the front 9 holes.
Great deal. Great course.
I paid $30 and got a round of golf, a beer, and surprisingly, a really good cheeseburger. You can't beat that deal. The course is in great shape, like always.
Greens were in fantastic shape.
Great course with a great deal that we played for. Well maintained and looked after.
Best Value for the money in the Jacksonville/St. Augustine area!
This is an excellently maintained course from T-box to the Green. Pro shop and clubhouse are efficently run, and have an exceptional staff. Course itself is a bit challenging but not overwhelming. If you have an opportunity to play at Eagle Landing, do not pass it up!!
lack of fairway grass
greens were good ran smooth. fairways no grass hitting off hard pan all round.nothing to stop ball running on fairways. love the layout but need to overseed the fairways. i would be willing to pay an higher green fee for better fairways. two years ago fairways were good.
course has nice layout
a friendly staff alwayes makes for a great start and they have one. course in good cond also. price is a fair one. golf now is a great way to try different courses at reasonable rates.
My friends & I had a great experience. The Par 3's are quite challenging. Overall, the course is maintained very well!
The course is very fun to play. Challenging Par 3's and bunkers well placed. It's a very quiet neighborhood and very scenic. Excellent staff on the course, pro shop and clubhouse. Will plan to go back with friends as often as possible. Loved the great deal with breakfast, cart fees, lunch & 2 beverages. Good marketing!!
Nice course
We didn't start until 30 minutes after our tee time due to no available golf carts. Once we finished the 1st hole and made are way to #2 one of our carts wouldn't go any further. They found another one and brought it to us. Course was over booked and took 5 hours to finish.
Nice course and in good over all condition.
Golf Cart shortage
Only problem was our tee time was at 2:30and they didnt' find us two golf carts for our foursome until after 3pm, as we waited on the first tee. We have golfed here before and know how good the value can be and once again the course was in great shape, fairways were short, rough was playable and greens were quick but forgiving.
Very playable and in superb condition. Friendly staff. Recommended a must in Jacksonville area.
Very smooth transition from car to green. Staff was alert to needs and quick to respond. Play was a little slow but that was due to prime time booking. The course is both challenging and playable. Great greens and well maintained grounds. Recommended to all handicappers.
Great Value
Played on a Friday afternoon and was able to book a pre-paid round for $19/person. Greens were in great shape and rolled true. Fairways were in good shape for this time of year. Course is a little bit of a drive for me since I am over near the Beaches/Southside area but well worth it. We also received food and a draft beer after the round. We'll definitly be back.
Nice layout and condition
I don't live in the area but I have played about 6 courses in the area. I have played this course 5 times in different times of the year and it is always in very good condition. The pace of play is a little slow but I think that is just attributed to the overall value of golf here. Nice overseeded greens and driving range. Most of the holes are moderately open and water is in play in a few holes but not a menace. Most of the greens are open in front for players that like to roll the ball up to the greens. Speed of greens is perfect. Rough is not very high. Club house is relatively new and nice. They usually have a beverage cart on the course. 8 on scale of 10!!! I will play again.
Winter condition
The greens are fast and I had a difficult time reading them. Greens were in great shape. Fairways are apparently dormant for the Florida winter.
Staff and facilities are great.
Great pace of play as always. Will play again within 6 weeks.
took 5 hours
takes 5 hours to play a round of golf.
greens were fair.
rest of course was in good shape
open
The course was in good shape. I got off on time. The round took over five hours to complete which had everyone concerned about what might be happening. The rangers came by 3 times and did not speak to us at all. They did not offer any words of encouragemnet or volunteer any information as to why it was taking too long. I can only assume they had been chewed out already by so many ahead of us that they didn't want to invite any more trouble. good dodge guys. When the customers show more class, by not yelling at the guy as he speeds by, than the staff who ignores them, you got to wonder why.
Gem on the Westside!
Possibly the nicest course on the Westside - great layout, greens are always in fantastic shape. Staff always friendly and very reasonable rates.
