Bonita Fairways
About
Bonita Fairways is situated near Bonita Beach, just a few minutes from the Southwest Florida International Airport. The executive golf course is made up of seven par 4s and the rest are par 3s. The unique layout will test both your short game and long game. There is water throughout the golf course, though the hazards are larger on the front nine than the back. The front nine has a variety of other challenges as well including sand traps and doglegs. The back nine at Bonita Fairways has a different character than the front with more rolling hills and valleys, but there are still plenty of doglegs and sand. It is definitely a golf course where you can hone your short game but there are a few opportunities to grip it and rip it as well.

Fun course
Always a nice round here. Very friendly staff, good price, good conditions and some challenging holes, especially in 20+ mph winds plus gusts!!
The greens the fairways in the tea boxes were in fabulous shape. This is an excellent executive course.
Good practice for short game.
Good practice for short game. Greens are in pretty good shape. Nice executive course.
Nice course
Golfed Bonita Fairways on a Sunday morning. Tee time was at 8:34. First nine was a little slow but seemed to open up on the back 9. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the course was maintained and the greens rolled true. I will play it again.
Evecutive
Nice course in good shape. However, $70 for an executive course is outrageous.
Improved golf course
I was surprised how this course has changed for the best. The course was in good condition and the pace was acceptable.
Only play if no other options
Monday, 9:30 tee-time. This is a par 61 executive course that should only be played by seniors with excellent patience. By the 6th tee box, it was backed up with two foursomes. We went back to the parking lot and loaded up. A total waste of $140.00.
Great with adjusted expectations
I played this course early in the morning during peak season. The people from the bag drop to the pro shop were exceedingly nice to me, and offered me a 9 or a rain check if I needed to - but pace of play was very fair.
The course exceeded my expectations regarding the way it was kept, the layout, how fun it was to play, and frankly, how many ”Signature” holes it had. For an executive park 61 (but squeezed in a full 18) this course has a lot of beautiful shots, overwater, tucked away pins, and was very fair for a midget handicapper.
