Bonita Fairways
About
Bonita Fairways is situated near Bonita Beach, just a few minutes from the Southwest Florida International Airport. The executive golf course is made up of seven par 4s and the rest are par 3s. The unique layout will test both your short game and long game. There is water throughout the golf course, though the hazards are larger on the front nine than the back. The front nine has a variety of other challenges as well including sand traps and doglegs. The back nine at Bonita Fairways has a different character than the front with more rolling hills and valleys, but there are still plenty of doglegs and sand. It is definitely a golf course where you can hone your short game but there are a few opportunities to grip it and rip it as well.

Dry But Fun
Bonita Fairways is a decent executive course built within a community and decent value through GolfNow. The staff was extremely friendly and I enjoyed my round but the course played very, very dry. Minimal signage, no yardage stakes and a couple of discrepancies between scorecard and course plaques kept me guessing.
A well kept gem!
I am exploring different executive length golf courses near my Fort Myers home. This is the fifth short course that I have encountered. It is by far the best conditioned track! I have a 30 minute drive limit on my search. The greens putt with a fair amount of pace, but they are not bumpy or filled with crabgrass or brown spots. I did not need to move my ball to avoid bare spots or sand repair patches once! The grassy tees were even and well maintained. The scorecard shows quite a few 100 yard, or less, holes from the senior tees. Prevailing winds and the sizes of the greens provide the challenge!
I noticed that players there care for their course. Divots were filled and pitch marks were repaired. The cart paths are smooth and in good shape.
Looking good!
The course was in great condition today and the weather was beautiful. Everything was green, except for the money coming out of my pocket at $55 for 18. Executive style course that humbles the long ball hitter and spotlights the short game. Great time for all.
Continuous improvement
The first time I played this course a few years ago it was rough around the edges but over the last few years it is really getting polished into a nice little executive course. Dare I say the best executive course in the county… You pick it Lee or Collier
Nice executive course, slow but true greens.
It's an executive course but you get a few opportunities to hit driver. The course is in good shape with relatively slow but very true and receptive greens. Early morning pace of play was very, very fast.
Bonita fairways
executive course. play the blues to make it more fun. very average course. Should be $45 max for 18 holes( I played 9 on a weekday afternoon) in my opinion. Not worth more. Better than a driving range but you don't feel like it's a real round of golf.
Tune up
This course can play slow at first, but gets better after the first three holes once golfers get "dialed in"!..could use a few more par 4's, and perhaps a par 5 on each nine!
Best 18 hole executive 9
This is a nice course with challenge and beauty. Although the pace can be slow at times. Staff are top notch. No driving range. Nice practice putting green.
One suggestion
Course is beautiful, but could use yardage markers
Huge Improvement!!!
The rehabilitation of this course is a wonderful improvement. Very enjoyable short course - I will definitely play again.
