Bonita Fairways
About
Bonita Fairways is situated near Bonita Beach, just a few minutes from the Southwest Florida International Airport. The executive golf course is made up of seven par 4s and the rest are par 3s. The unique layout will test both your short game and long game. There is water throughout the golf course, though the hazards are larger on the front nine than the back. The front nine has a variety of other challenges as well including sand traps and doglegs. The back nine at Bonita Fairways has a different character than the front with more rolling hills and valleys, but there are still plenty of doglegs and sand. It is definitely a golf course where you can hone your short game but there are a few opportunities to grip it and rip it as well.

Narrow, slow greens
This is a tough little short course. Narrow, not a list of margin for a slice or hook. Lost a few along i75. Staff is very nice, carts run smooth.
Huge improvement over last year. First time I played since coming down here for the winter. Definitely enjoyed it.
Great first time experience
My wife and I hosted one of my friends and got together with a school chum to make it hopefully a yearly best ball challenge. Got there a couple hours early so had a chance to have lunch and check out the surroundings a bit. Extremely friendly young ladies at pro shop and restaurant. Starters were fantastic, couldn’t be more helpful knowing it was our first time. Got us off in good time as it was crowded. Took more grief from people who thought since they were there they should tee off. Course was great, not tore up in any way. My only problem was the group behind us constantly came to the tees at the hole we were on with their hands on their hips like that’s going to speed us up.We played the 18 hole course in a little more than 2 1/2 hours, we weren’t slow. 50.years of playing and it’s still aggravating to see people trying to rush people that aren’t playing slow in the first place. My friends were even par for the round and we were 1 under, so how slow could we be. Starter even remarked how fast we got through the front. Told him “you got to tell it to the guys behind us. He took care of the problem.Sorry to rant but if these people are soo good they should be playing regular courses,. Only executive courses to sharpen their game. One other thing, I was looking forward to seeing the alligator and young lady they have pictures of. All I saw was the Gator! Lol
The course was in good shape, again.
Lots of turtles today, as we played our round. Mostly snappers!
Excellent service & fun!
Super friendly staff from Mike in the bag drop to the pro shop staff and starter! Rented a set of Cobras that included a dozen golf balls and golf glove! Even though an executive course, the layout provided options to hit all the clubs in the bag! Course was really close to where we stayed and that was a bonus!
A tale of two nines
Front nine took two hours; back nine forty-five minutes.
Fun course. Great staff.
Played this with a friend who was beginner. We got out there for the first tee time and had plenty of space to ourselves with a relatively easy layout. This course provided a really nice setting to help each other get better. The staff is also super friendly especially the woman at the check-in desk. It’s very refreshing to see someone that nice and accommodating at 6:30am :)
Bingo, Bango, Bongo
This is the first time we have ever played a 3500 yard, Par 61, Executive 18 hole course. It was challenging for the short game!!! The staff was welcoming and helpful! We finished in 3 hours! The greens were a perfect speed!!! Fairways are coming along and would further benefits from less cart traffic!
Liked it.
We enjoyed playing here. It is not a difficult course but good for us seniors. Friendly staff and the cart guy was very helpful.
Busy day
250 golfers today on course pace was not horrible. No drink cart riding around was disappointed, areas around putting greens not good, like no grass heights which made it difficult to chip, no rakes in sand traps! Got back to find out no carts allowed on parking lot so you have to carry your clubs which is ridiculous
