Falls Village Golf Course

Not a walking course, very poor bunkers (worst I’ve ever seen), much construction adjacent to course which was annoying. Not recommended.

Greens were good. Not super fast but a good solid speed. Bunkers are all GUR. Not sure what their plan is for those. Fairways and tees are just starting to turn green again and some of the best I've played this year among regular old public courses.

I think the layout is ok. Holes 10-13 are extremely boring! Short course overall.

Putting green has CRAZY slope on it for some reason. It makes it hard to practice putts.

Staff was cool.

It's ok.

I've loved this course for years because of the great lay out and since there are very few houses on the course. But sadly, they are building BIG TIME. Clear cut acres and acres of land around the course. And some of the "tree protection areas" actually encroach on the course. Sad to see this happen, although I know they need to money to improve the traps. Probably my last round out there.

Our tee time got push back over an hour with no communication forthcoming. We ended up just hitting balls and going for coffee. I won’t be booking here I. The future

Portions of fairways blocked off for “road construction”. Portions of entire hikes out of play due to orange construction fencing. Saturated and wet throughout entire course.

I’ve always enjoyed the course layout.

Greens were rolling nice.

Course conditions were sub-par due to standing water / mud and orange construction nets running across tee-boxes or down fairways on a few holes.

Greens are great as well as the fringes. Fairways not so much. It was overseeded but thin in a few areas.

Fairways were for most of them awful. Greens fair. Most don’t seem to fix ball marks. While only in Two traps they are totally in playable. They have been that way for months. Not a shovel full of sand in any of them. Come on guys spend some money to fix this course. It’s a good layout but fix it or sell it.

Yesterday was pitiful. Traps full of water not at all draining. Could have swam in a couple of them. Yes it rained Monday but 3 days later still ponds in most of them. I live a mile away and got the same rain. Fix the drainage.
