Needs some work
The layout is really good and greens are in good shape. The fairways are in need of some TLC as there are some bare spots. The sand traps aren’t playable, so the local rule is to place it out of the trap, no closer to the hole without penalty.
Great play
Great day and great pace of play. Coarse was in great condition and will be back again soon!
Decent
The greens are great. The fairways are better than in past years. The sand traps have not been maintained for over 5 years. They don’t bother filling water coolers anymore. No toilets except in the clubhouse.
Great greens the rest is lacking
The only thing good about this course was the greens were in great . The fairways need a lot of help and there was zero sand in the bunkers. As far as my foursome was concerned if you were in a bunker it was a free drop out.
Awful conditions
Literally zero sand in the bunkers and the fairways have massive dirt patches exposed. Very dry, hard ground with little grass. Cant spend money to play hear or recommend it to anyone until its fixed up a good bit. Pace of play was dreadful as well. Very slow family groups not letting better players pass through.
Get what you pay for
The course wasn’t in the best condition. Patchy fairways and slow greens. Good course for a high handicap or learning to play golf. Very open and forgiving layout.
Fairways in Rough Shape, Took 4.5 hrs to play
I’ve played FV several times over the last two years and have always enjoyed it. Relatively fast greens and a fun, scoreable layout. However, yesterday was interesting. While I played my best round in years, the fairways were horrendous. I understand that it’s August and peak season is behind us, but there are other courses with better fairways at this time of year at the same price to play. We were behind a few groups, so the possibility to play through was zero. We tee’d off at 12:50 and finished at 5:15.
like the layout
I like playing falls village even though sand traps in bad shape. I'm not in love with playing out of sand anyway. the greens are excellent and the layout is very good. fairways thin but probably due to hot weather.
