About
Callahan Golf Links in Waleska possesses a rich history of more than 150 years of farming and family ownership. Before being converted into a golf course, the site functioned as a farm from the Civil War until World War II. When creating the course, the natural beauty of the landscape was carefully preserved. As its name would suggest, the layout is a true links design with carefully placed pot bunkers and thick cuts of rough. Water is barely present but there are plenty of other challenges throughout that will quickly make you forget that fact. It is gentle enough for beginners but the back tees will challenge more experienced players. Golfers can also work on their short game on the chipping and putting greens or warm up on the driving range. The affordable rates make Callahan Golf Links an excellent value.

Value with good conditions
This course is typically in good condition and offers great value. Other than a quirky opening par 5, the layout is solid. Staff is friendly.
Great as always
I came in without a tee time hoping to play a quick 9. I was paired with a very friendly club member and had a great time. The Callahans are investing a lot of time and money into making the course a quality place to play. Highly recommend.

Best kept secret
This course is the best kept secret and in the best condition by far from any other course I’ve played all year!
Disrespectful workers
I went golfing with my brother and my step-mother. On the very first hole, I had a bad shot and proceeded to go get my ball. The golf cart was barely in the grass and he walks up to my step-mother cussing. He cusses me out and threatens to kick me off the course. There is absolutely no reason to talk to people that way, much less in front of a woman and a teenager. We will not be back
Great Value
Greens, fairways, and tee boxes are all in great shape. Very fun course to play however the pace can be quite slow.
Great and challenging course
This course is great for the price and very challenging.
Sunday Afternoon
Overall, we were happy with the facility, course, etc, as we have played here multiple times in the past, and plan to return, but the pace of play was incredibly slow. So slow, that our group left after 9 holes. Disappointing, but we will be back, and appreciate this opportunity to share with you our experience.
Value place to play
Links course but wide in many places. It wasn't crowded that day due to threat of rain. Don't expect much from amenities.
