About
Callahan Golf Links in Waleska possesses a rich history of more than 150 years of farming and family ownership. Before being converted into a golf course, the site functioned as a farm from the Civil War until World War II. When creating the course, the natural beauty of the landscape was carefully preserved. As its name would suggest, the layout is a true links design with carefully placed pot bunkers and thick cuts of rough. Water is barely present but there are plenty of other challenges throughout that will quickly make you forget that fact. It is gentle enough for beginners but the back tees will challenge more experienced players. Golfers can also work on their short game on the chipping and putting greens or warm up on the driving range. The affordable rates make Callahan Golf Links an excellent value.

This is a challenging course. Awesome layout. Very friendly staff. Not my first time to play it and it still kicks my butt. Well worth the cost.
Great value and course
The course has a great layout, it will challenge you at times depending on the Teebox that you play from overall a great course for the money the staff is very friendly and they have a great selection of drinks!
There are no water jugs on the course. When it is this hot out there should be water jugs.
Great Pace of play, not an excuse for no drink cart
Been here a few times. Really enjoy the course, the greens are in even better shape than the past. Some of the par 3s REALLY need attention though. I couldn’t find my pitch marks because there were so many.
Only real complaint is lack of drink cart. On a day where the temp is 95+ “Not a lot of reservations today” is not an excuse to not have a drink cart out. Even at any temp, it’s not a reason.
Excellent conditions
Enjoyed Callahan except for the temp and heat. Didn’t pay extra for more breeze. Will play again.

Great course!
I have played a number of coursed in tha area...I signed up with Callahan. The course will challenge you, the course is always in excellent condition and the rates are reasonable....it is a links course! The staff is outstanding and the club manager Josh does an outstanding job as well as the starters and all that work there! It's a pleasure to play and I play more because of the total experience!
4 hour round on a Sunday
Course is in great shape. Great value. Greens a little slow but seems everyone is keeping them long due to it being wet.

The turf is really good and greens and good. A little slow but we've had a lot of rain this week in our area. Course is in great shape overall.
