Hottest day of the year but we got out early. Played a little slow due volume of golfers but expected that. Course is in great shape. The beverage cart came around just in time twice. Another great day at Callahan! I just wish I would quit missing 3 foot putts...

Everything was to expectations in every aspect. If your looking for a good place to enjoy a challenging round, look no further. You won't be disappointed and will treated as quests at all times. Great Staff. For sure will be back for revenge on this course.

I've been playing Callahan for the past two years and can't say enough good things about this course. From Josh & Julio in the pro shop to Matt the superintendent, this is a first-class operation. No three people try harder to make your day better than these three.

There are plenty of Country Clubs nearby that I have either played or been a member of that I never felt part of. Callahan is a friendly, family course that everyone will enjoy. If you play from the "tips' I promise you will be challenged at this place. If you are like me, (I'm 64 and have earned the right to play the whites ;-) ) this course is the perfect place to spend your days enjoying the rolling hills, wide fairways and smooth greens. Vacationing in the area and wanted to play without breaking the getaway budget. Found this course online and thought we'd give it a try. So glad we did. The staff were friendly, and the locals we were paired with were a lot of fun. We love the area, and will definitely be back.

Challenging but fun to play. Forgivable fairways, excellent greens. I’ll be returning soon. Great value

I've played here a good bit. Greens are in great condition and it's a really great layout. Some tee boxes aren't in great shape but, I mean, youre using a tee right? No big deal.

Only major complaint is the number of range balls you get for a $5 bucket. Kind of paltry.

I’ve played Callahan 5 times now. I drive up from Marietta and play. It’s a very solid course and worth the money. It’s not going blow you away with 5 star luxury but it’s very very solid. Greens look healthy, fairways are usually in good shape, tee boxes overall are pretty solid. Layout offers some variety. It plays a little short but that makes it enjoyable hitting shorter irons or wedges more often than not. They just got some new golf carts and they have a little restaurant/bar are.

Also when the starter is out there rippin’ cowboy killers and shootin the breeze you understand the environment and how it’s the perfect amount of laid back.

The only thing i caution about is when you lose your ball deep into the high grass you aren’t finding it. It’s like a big hayfield, not normal rough/grass.

Callahan is worth a trip to Waleska, good little course.

It never stops amazing me how well taken care of this golf course is. Always playable, good pace of play & great greens! I have played it even when it first opened & most fairways were sprigs of Bermuda, fairways are so full and covered . An absolute value for the cost. Must see Par 3 - 8th hole from back tees in the Autumn, colors along Mountain back drop are spectacular.
