About
Callahan Golf Links in Waleska possesses a rich history of more than 150 years of farming and family ownership. Before being converted into a golf course, the site functioned as a farm from the Civil War until World War II. When creating the course, the natural beauty of the landscape was carefully preserved. As its name would suggest, the layout is a true links design with carefully placed pot bunkers and thick cuts of rough. Water is barely present but there are plenty of other challenges throughout that will quickly make you forget that fact. It is gentle enough for beginners but the back tees will challenge more experienced players. Golfers can also work on their short game on the chipping and putting greens or warm up on the driving range. The affordable rates make Callahan Golf Links an excellent value.

Need pin placement information or red white and blue flags
Enjoy playing here. Layout is good and they are doing a lot of work on the course. New golf carts are good.Some of the greens and tee boxes need attention and I hope they go. Back to the old pin flags as it is hard to judge what position they are in especially for uphill shots.
Callahan is a great value
I love this course. Overall in very good condition, greens and fairways were well kept. Staff is super friendly and it’s a great deal for the money spent.

Great Memorial Day round, not my play - the weather, the course, the people I was paired with (went as a single).

Awesome course. Fast pace. Course is in excellent condition. Great value for the money.
Last round before surgery
Fairways and greens were in good shape. Get out of the first cut rough and you have issues. Pace of play was a little slow but but awful. Several white tees pushed forward shrank the yardage today.
Garbage course. Cow pasture.
Avoid at all costs. This course would maybe be worth $10 for 18 but I’d look for a better course first.
The cart lady with her nice smile was a welcome sight on a hot day!!
I think the creek on the first hole should be covered over so I want lose more balls:(
