Good course. Cart path only too often which kills pace of play

Great course. Fun layout. Great greens. My only gripe is in the last seven times I’ve played here, at least five of them have been cart path only. Even though it’s been sunny the day I played. And yes, we got rain the prior day, like the other courses in the area, but they were all either 90° or only car path only in the morning.

Except the over the top cart path only policy, the rest is great. Also don’t expect to get any time before 12 pm on any weekend day. I learned from a member that they can book their tee times 30 days out. So best a non members usually get is the after noon and evening play.

Pace of play and cart path only way too often

I love this course. Great layout. But for some reason 5 of last 6 times I’ve played in have been cart path only. I get it rains day prior but when the other courses are doing 90 degree and it’s sunny and 85 degrees out, you;d think they at least do cart path on some holes. This is not an easy course to do cart path due to the layout.

Today was the worst pace of play I’ve seen. Left after 10 holes. Was on pace for a 6 hour round. No marshals on course that we saw.

Nice course but Cart path only policy stinks

Love this course. Fun. Good shape. My only gripe is their over reaction to rain and cart path only.

Rains night before but not bad. Then all next day is cart path only. Fairways are dry. Dun is out Makes no sense. Not an easy course for that.

It’s happened 3 of the last 4 times I’ve played here. Yet other courses in the area aren’t CPO

Fantastic course conditions

First time playing Echelon. I have to say I have NEVER putted on better greens and I have played Peeble Beach, TPC Sawgrass and some of the nicest courses in the Southeast. The entire course was in incredible condition. Top 3 course conditions in my 40 years of golf. But I need to get out more, too.
