Heron Bay Golf & Country Club

This is one of my favorite courses in Metro Atlanta. Great course layout, usually in really good shape and surprisingly beautiful views on many of the holes. Highly recommend I would play there a lot more often if it wasn’t so far away for me.

We played here for the first time Sunday. This was a great value as the hot deal and we were very pleased. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bring your A game this is a tough track. Lots of trouble and very fast greens. Overall a tremendous experience. Definitely will be back!

Course is in great shape. Greens are really fast. They need to finish repairs on the cart paths in a couple of areas.

Course was fun. fairways and greens were in great shape. a few greens on the bad had some small issues but for time of year i was very impressed.

Go now before the grass enters dormancy. The course is in great shape and offer some beautiful scenery. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The fairways and greens are the best in this part of the state, for a semi private course. I’m being a little picky with my next statement but, the tee boxes could use some manicuring but, this didn’t affect your ability to play your tee shot…strictly aesthetically speaking. I only wish (like most course) people would take care of the course by, filling their divots, raking out the bunkers and repairing ball-marks on these beautiful greens. I love playing here!

This course is in great shape! The tee-boxes could use a little grooming but, didn’t affect tee shot, just aesthetically speaking. The fairways and greens are the best in the area. The pace of play was not great but also, not super slow. Played here twice this week!

I loved this course. Great layout and excellent conditions. A few fairly challenging holes, but overall fair. Only problem was that it was a Monday and there were several foursomes ahead of me, taking their time on the greens especially (no gimmes). They did offer to let me play through twice, but with two more groups up ahead, there was no point. Round took five hours, which is weekend pace.

We played Friday afternoon and the rate was just $43 including tax. It was the day before GSGA and the course was in great condition. There are lots of bunkers which keep it interesting. The pace of play was fine as we finished at about 4:10 but we could have finished much faster but there was a slow inconsiderate group two groups ahead of us. We will definitely be back!

With local courses swamped with tournaments it was slow. But a few locals could have speeded up. Greens v good.

This course was my 50th state to play golf. I couldn’t have asked for a better finishing course. I could ask for a better game. Next time I’m in the area, I’ll play again.

Awesome course. It is in the best shape ever. Greens are fantastic…friendly staff…awesome course layout. Will definitely play there again soon. Excellent greens, little work required on bunkers. Cart Girl was super nice and friendly.
