Poston Butte Golf Club

A single paired with a family of 3, pace could’ve been better in front as we were waiting basically every tee. Had nowhere to go and got hit into 2~3 times. A Marshall would be nice during busy season. Conditions and amenities great as always.

Super setting. Great course. Excellent pace of play. We make sure to play this every time we are in the area.

Great track...excellent condition...generous landing areas...greens were extremely fast...almost too fast given the pin locations...bunkers were great....will be back for sure...this was my fifth time playing here over the past couple years.

Great layout that rewards shot placement and positioning. Greens and in great shape - super fast.

First off, this course looks amazing and I would love to play here. However, upon showing up for my 6:40am tee time with my wife, the gentleman in the club house told me that due to having a rider, I would be restricted to cart path only due to the fact I would have an “extra” cart. If that’s the rule, great, however, this is not shown on their website, nor on golf now where I made my reservation. Had this been shown, I would not have booked here and wasted my time taking my wife, on her birthday. Keep in mind, my wife is just a rider, not a player. I asked if I could tee off in front of the group I was with, he said no, we have a full tee sheet. Hard to believe considering there was 5 vehicles in the parking lot, minimum of 2 were employees, and there’s 5 more available tee times for 1-4 players available right now. Their website states a “rider fee” will apply, which is standard and fine, whatever. The gentleman was not willing to work with us at all, even though me being cart path only would severely slow the pace of play for my group and all groups behind us. The gentleman was quite rude and told me I should leave, lol. If that is a rule, it should be advertised, which it is not, like it is at many other courses I do not take my wife to for this reason. Again, the course looks amazing and I was super excited to play here, not sure if the guy at the front was having a bad day, or fighting with his wife, or something like that there are certainly better ways to deal with paying customers on a day you clearly are NOT full.

I have played the course many times over the years, always fast great greens. This time possibly due to the amount of rain prior days the greens were slow and bumby.

Tee boxes and fairways in great condition. Greens were extremely slow.

New person working as a ranger must have got up on wrong side of bed and 2 of my guys quit after the front nine.

Great course for the price in the afternoon! Pace was a bit slow but that’s a given on a weekend afternoon

4 hours for 18 holes, excellent

course was in good conditions, fairways, bunkers and sand traps all playable

only issue was with marshall coming after 3rd hole and telling us to pick it up, but we werent holding anybody up behind us, as they never had to wait.
