Didn't get to play Ennis Golf Course due to adverse weather conditions,its such a pity as we we're really looking forward to it.

Excellent Course
Arrived early for a 17:20 tee time on a pleasant Thursday evening. Staff in the pro shop were very friendly and let me out early. I played on my own with few on the course, so no issue with pace of play. Layout is forgiving, in that it is relatively easy to find any stray ball, however, you can be punished behind the many trees that line the fairways. Fairways and greens were in great condition and well maintained. A bit of crisscrossing of fairways on the back 9 which could be an issue if the course was busy - just need to keep your eyes (and ears) open. Cleaning station was all in good working order. Didn’t go into the clubhouse, but will the next time - I will be back to play this course again. I really did enjoy the evening.
A lovely day out
As always Ennis failed to disappoint. A lovely stroll around a very nice golf course in a well designed format. Holes are testing without being overly tough & tight drives test the wayward types (me).
The only issue I'd have is that some people seem incapable of fixing pitch marks on greens which was disappointing but that's not the club's fault.
The course was in great nick & it was a lovely day out. The clubhouse is very good also, the bar & restaurant area is a place you can unwind for a bit post round. The pro shop service was brilliant & very friendly.

I always enjoy playing this course. Overall it’s great value for money. The course itself is always well maintained and kept to a very good standard. With the weather we’ve had lately you can see the efforts made to keep the course and especially the greens in top condition. The clubhouse is great too. With nice food to be had in the bar and served by the friendliest of staff. I will be back soon.
