Bartram Trail Golf Club
About
Bartram Trail Golf Club in Evans is situated just minutes from Augusta National. Despite the fame of its neighbor, Bartram Trail stands out for being Columbia County's only public golf course. It has a location next to Patriot's Park that provides forests of mature hardwoods and pine trees that were fully utilized in the design. The scenic and well preserved landscape of the golf course includes rolling hills, natural wetlands, and the meandering Euchee Creek. The dedication to preserving the beauty of the terrain earned the course certification as an Audubon International Wildlife Sanctuary. Although the hills, trees, and wetlands present some formidable challenges, Bartram Trail Golf Club was designed with playability in mind as well. There are some tricky holes but it's not overly punishing for the high handicapper.

Slow Play
Took over 4 1/2 hours for my twosome to play a round due to slow play in front of us (played the front 9 in an hour and a half). A ranger would be helpful.
Awesome Deal
Very awesome the course the staff the layout well worth it and would very much recommend it to my friends very awesome course greens are really fast awesome
Great Round
Greens rolled true and the ball set up in the fairway.
Excellent Course
The fairways were in excellent shape and the greens were amazingly good - rolling very true. Nice rolling hills and with 5 par 3's and 5 par 5's, many opportunities to birdie!
Solid value
Has its share of challenging holes for a medium handicapper. Greens are smooth and fast making them easy to 3 putt.
NICE!!!!
The course was well kept and beautiful. However my GPS watch was not functioning like it was suppose to and I found out why on number 10 tee box. Apparently the front nine was backwards to the back nine. My GPS showed number 10 as hole number 1.
Good course, not great. It will test your game.
It is a fun course to play, and the price was right!
Evans GA
Course has all the challenges of the area: hills, quick greens, hit the fairways, carry to fairways and greens, etc.
We moved right along on the back nine after being behind a tournament group the front nine. Greens while quick were true if the putt was put on the correct line and speed.
Ball sat very nice on fairway and when in rough was a challenging shot.
Best public course in the Augusta Area
Always a pleasure to play.
Always in great condition.
Always enjoy the hospitable staff.
Jeff And the Course Staff have put in the hours and skill so all the CSRA can enjoy their work.
The course was in fantastic shape..Fairways green and lush. The putting greens recently rolled and were in competition condition. Staff was friendly and helpful. This is the best time of year to play so get your gear and injoy a great round of golf at Bartram.
Fun course in Great condition with lots of hills and slopes
I really like Bartram Trail. It is a very nice course which is in great condition. The bermuda grass greens and fairways are in great condition. The greens are very smooth and role true and are challenging with lots of slopes, subtle breaks and elevation changes.
- The rough is thick and lush and at times you lose your ball because the ball falls down into the bermuda grass and unless you are right on top of you ball, it is very challenging to find.
- The 9th Par 5 hole has a challenging second short over the valley/creek. If you walk off with a PAR on the 9th hole you have done well.
- The course has lots of hills, slopes and elevation changes with many forced carries off the tee.
Beautiful
I've been playing here for about six years and I would say today was the best condition I have ever seen it in. The fairways and greens were as perfect as they could be, the fairways were very plush and look like carpet. Pace of play was a little on the slow side but not too bad. Looking forward to going back as soon as possible.
Great layout
Enjoy course much more since holes have been reversed. Great shape and well maintained. Look forward to playing BT as often as I can .
