Course Needs Help
I have played here before but this was the worst I have seen it. Never a great course, but usually a better value for the dollar. The fairways were weedy, as were the tee boxes. The greens were okay but not in great condition. Not sure what’s going on here.

It’s great that there are water and ice machines on the course. But if you have lids and cups for straws but no cups that’s all useless. Great course great amenities besides no cups at water stations.

Great course that will test you!
Front 9 is a good test for anyone. The back 9 is long and really tests your game.. Everyone should play this course and when you are finished you will know how your golf game is doing for sure. Myself and a friend of mine really enjoyed playing this course. The driving range, practice greens and the course are inngreat shape. Keep up the great work!

Hoped for more
Course rates a 6 on a scale from 1-10. Not in the best of shape. Need more access to drinking water and ice. 94 degrees out and no water until the back nine.

Overall good course
Course was fairly dry the day we played, but it hadn’t rained for 5 days. You could tell course would be very wet after a normal rain.

Needs attention
Due to poor drainage conditions I usually don't play this course during rainy season. Back nine is cpo a lot of days and I can't walk that much so I don't play much.
However went out yesterday and oh my, I couldn't believe the condition of the course.
The tee boxes are horrendous, the fairways are very thinly covered with grass and the greens have almost the same amount of sand as the traps.
The whole course looks neglected. There seemed to be ample people running machinery and putting mulch around the newly planted trees but the course seems neglected. Hopefully they get it together before conditions worsen . I'll stay away for awhile. The way it is i wouldn't want to pay season prices to play.

Getting Better All the Time
We have been playing this course for years. It continues to get better and you can tell much money is going into it. The only drawback is prices, in season, have gone up but still love playing here.

Not Bad
Played this course last year when I was visiting the area and it was in very good shape. So, decided to play again this year and was disappointed in the overall conditions of the course. A few holes on front 9 catch path, and 1 hole had a temporary green. The entire back 9 was cart path only. The greens were ok, but they were slow.

Disappointed Return
So we sign up for a nice early morning tee time, show up an hour prior to hit a bucket on the range utilize the chipping area and then wonder over to the putting green before we tee off.. (plenty of time) However once we arrived we were informed the range was closed because “it was under water” it’s SWFL in the summer so we’ll give them a mulligan on that one.. So at this point we figured we would just go to the chipping area just get loose. (as much as you can chipping) lol We then we’re informed the chipping area was for “members only” and there’s a smaller area next to the green we could utilize but only if we purchased a bucket of balls to chip?? Iv played 100’s of rounds of golf at courses all over the country, never been told I had to pay for balls to chip. ITS ALWAYS INCLUDED!?!? I voiced my opinion with a snicker and then proceeded to the “Guest chipping area” WHAT A JOKE! Fairway grass was disappointingly manicured, Greens we’re slow and patchy. There was a temporary green on hole 7 that we weren’t even advised of. Moral of the story is this place thinks that it’s a prestigious country club and it’s not even close! I will not be returning nor would I ever recommend this course to anyone….

A normal round of golf and played by myself which was nice because I needed to shake the rust off Palmetto-Pine is a nice course that will challenge your game and not break your wallet Well maintained a very nice outdoor halfway house and other amenities Give it a play I’m sure you will be happy
