Poorly Managed
Nothing posted on web sites that course was reconfigured for reseeding or some kind of major maintenance. Not until after we paid, were we told. We were never told that several holes, especially 5 par's, we cart path only. Not even after they took my money. Having a bad leg, this was unacceptable. There was no ranger paroling the course. We had to wait an average of 10-15 minutes on 6 or 9 holes on the front 9, with upwards of 4 groups backed up. When i complained at the pro shop, they said they did send the ranger once. They have no concept of managing play. I asked to speak with the person in charge and was told that would be the pro, but he was not available since he was giving a golf lesson. No wonder the course wasn't being managed. The condition of the course was horrible- it was not been maintained properly this year- weed clumps everywhere, dirt and no grass and some of what grass was there was cut so short it burned out. I left after nine holes since there was a 30 minute wait at the turn. When I complained, I was not offered a refund or rain check. But that's alright- I will get my satisfaction by telling 30 golfers over the next month to not play there.
Nice day for golf
Wonderful staff. They actually brought the golf cart to me in the parking lot. Staff was mindful of social distancing and followed their guidelines.
The course was badly in need of watering as the fairways were brown. Greens were fast and flags had foam noodle around them.
Happy with pace of play. Didn’t have to wait to tee off.
We had a great time.
Impressed with courtesy from staff. Cleaned my cart for me. Thank you. Enjoyed myself. Will be back.
Great course!
Better be ready to hit the long ball!! Great course, lots of friendly bustle and very accommodating. I used a certain golf app that mistakenly booked 2 tee times instead of 3 and they worked our 3rd in on the fly. Their staff is all around exceptional and a blast to deal with. What a fun course!!!
nice
Due to the drought we are having in the area, I was surprised that the course played as well as it did.
Mopadre
It's really getting hot, and the course needs some more rain. Like most of Florida, we are eagerly awaiting the summer rains.
In general I'd say the course is in good condition and hope they will be able to open up completely soon. There are some things during the heat that are helpful and coolers are one of them.
cape fear golf club
This course was in horrible condition and should be closed. Even if the green fees were reduced by 50%, I would not play here again. If I was the golf superintendent here , I would be working on my resume. I played Coral Oaks golf club several weeks ago and that course was in very good shape. It is a shame that this club is now closed by the city of cape coral.
Friends
Got together with some old friends for 9 holes. We appreciated that they had 9 hole tee times. Enjoyed the course. The greens were a little beat. We enjoyed our round
Best 9 holes in Cape Coral
Challenging layout, friendly staff, Enjoy golfing here, this is the course to golf in Cape Coral.
get there early
Great day on this course. Most of the fairways were excellent. Great bounces. Some of the holes really made you think about your shot. We played the "Prince" and "Queen" 9's. The greens were a bit bumpy and some were really fast. The entire staff we dealt with were fantastic. We were the 1st ones off and by the time we made the turn it was really busy. Saw a family of Otters in one of the ponds and they swam near us to check us out. We will return to play here again.
A nice layout that is reasonable value for money
This course has 3 nines, we played the Prince and Queens. Fairways are in good shape, the sand in the bunkers has a lot of shell or stones in it. Some of the tee boxes were really beat up, most of the greens are OK but a couple have signs of wear. The weather was great and the pace good, just under four hours for the round. I would play it again but I wouldn't want to pay more than 45$
Terrible Shape
Tee Boxes were all chewed up, greens were painted with dead/diseased spots all over, soaking wet despite it being dry season. Only good thing I can say about this course is the 19 hole has a good local beer...
I played this course several years ago and it was in better condition this time. With new ownership and 27 holes, I would recommend this course as a good value for the price.
