Casselberry Golf Club
About
Opened in 1947, the course at Casselberry Golf Club is one of the oldest golf courses in Florida. Since opening, the course has garnered a favorable reputation among locals and visitors alike. Casselberry Golf Club's fairways are lined with trees and water comes into play on twelve holes. Although the golf course features several challenges, its modest length makes it more accessible for beginners but players of all skill levels will enjoy the course. In addition to the course, Casselberry Golf Club boasts one of the area's largest practice facilities, which includes a driving range, multiple putting greens, a practice bunker, and a chipping area.

Looking Good!
Seems some work is being done to this course. Looked good today. Lexi, behind the counter is the best!!
Retiree Course
I didn’t use the practice facilities. The cart was ok. A little old, slow and gas powered. No GPS or USB connection. The tee boxes were spotty and not level. The fairways were ok at best. Thin, spotty and at times wet. Plus, there are small pockets of water that don’t show up GolfLogix. Traps were fine, no standing water. The greens… round/oval, small and non-descript. And slooooow… pace of play was slow because it’s a retiree course. Their just trying to kill 4-6 hours. But it also only cost me $25. You get what you pay for. It’s not a go out of your way course.
Solid course
Very wet, slow greens but pretty solid shape. Good price, I don’t know why but I really hate how I have to prepay on the weekends. Really inconvenient, either you pay for everyone or task everyone to call and pay.
Solid course
Enjoyed the round. Good pace of play and the greens were in solid shape
Fun course, needs some work
Good value for the course but recently the boggy unplayable areas in the fairways have increased. I’m taking a break from here until things improve.
Move the holes
All the hole edges were very frayed, almost like they haven’t been moved in weeks. The green were very choppy like the mower was on hydraulics. Crazy thing is for how wet the front 9 was, the back 9 was bone dry.
I like this course
generally speaking I like this course though the price is getting a little high for a basic facility...the city takes way better care of it than previous managers but there is usually a weakness or three. Today the rough was way high, the greens had not been mowed this morning and the holes had not been moved in some time. The hole edges were ragged and the immediate area around them rough from peoples feet indentations. So anyhow, I play here 4-6 times a year...there are several canals and ponds to hit over on the front and not so much on the back. If you can get on for $20 or so give it a try.
Great layout, greens need to be cut.
Course was fun. Lot of drivable par 4s that could easily get you in trouble.. Greens were long on the front and need a cut. Back nine greens were cut, but sanded.
Greens are in amazing shape!
My husband and I are retired and have the blessing of playing many different courses in Florida and in other states. We live on Tuskawilla Golf Course but still call Casselberry our home course because of the friendly and knowledgeable staff, well stocked club house, fun programs and of course EXCELLENT condition of the course and greens. Casselberry Golf Club easily rivals anything Disney has to offer and betters courses that tout five star ratings. Thank you City of Casselberry for supporting your fantastic staff and facilities!
They need to group people
We played as a group of 4 and started with a solo behind us. After a couple of holes we let him play through since he was always waiting. There were 3 more solos behind him so we always felt like people were breathing down our necks even though we kept a decent pace
If you want a country club, then go join Alaqua
If you want to hone your skills and enjoy spotting the occasional river otter, then this place is for you. Yeah the greens are long, but the staff are making overall course improvements daily.
Pros-
Price, Pace of play, Reachable but challenging par 4's
Cons-
Greens, Crossing active roadways between multiple holes, Par 3 18th. (The last is just a personal annoyance. I like finishing on a long driving hole.)
Tough course lots of water
Good day and course was in decent shape. Lots of wet spots but that’s Florida
