Palms at Marriott's Desert Springs Resort

The photos make this course look a lot nicer than it is… the course is in great shape but doesn’t have a lot of character and you play by a busy road on two holes. If you can get a hot deal this is a good course, but probably not worth the prime time price they charge otherwise.

Enjoyed the round with a good pace of play. Lots of bunkers to avoid..

Great condition of the course and the back nine was excellent.

Course is fun and relatively forgiving just stay out of the water. Got a great heat of thee day rate and luckily it was overcast. Not many forks out there. Finished round in about 3 hours.

This course was our first time playing in Palm Springs, when used to a Canadian and Hawaiian golf climates. The turf was very dry and took a while to find how to hit the ball without chunking it. Additionally, the course seemed deceiving for distance because of the undulations and maybe because of the desert air - we found ourselves adjusting our club length from what we would typically play. The greens were very fast. We enjoyed the course layout, it was a beautiful landscape, lots of trees to create shade on a very hot day, and lots of waterscapes. The cart was ready with ice and water for us, the cart people prepared our bags and were very present throughout our round. We would play here again.

This time of the year its tough to find great golf. This place in September is always a good choice 👍

Hit the course on a slow day... no attendant at the bag drop, nor a starter at the 1st tee.... not a big deal, but something you would expect at this course....

Ok...I forgot about Golf pass from years ago....but I met a golfer rhat reminded me of Golf pass... so the next day I used it... I was flexible with times and I did save money on the same course.... I', going to try in Myrtle Beach,SC now....

Played both courses. Like both of them. Wide open fairways Long holes.

Staff very helpful. Moved right along and had fun as always.

The folks in the pro shop were amicable and helpful. However the bloke in charge of the carts left much to be desired. Long story short , he filled the cooler w/ ice and then failed to put any water in the cooler. I was told there was a beverage cart, there was none.

And that the “shack” was open for service. The shack had a closed sign but thankfully a women did come to the window to take my order. I was able to play through a couple groups and managed a 2:15 hr round. Upon return I asked the cart guy why he didn’t put any water in my cart , mind you it was 110 degrees, he said “oh most carts have water in them “ no apology, not a shred of empathy or remorse. I play golf to golf , not to complain or critique staff but this was completely outrageous, i did go back to pro shop but they had closed and so in addition to the review i would like to speak to this clowns supervisor and give them the low- down.
