The Club at Pelican Bay - North Course

Course needs a lot of TLC. Several greens lack turf and are nearly unplayable. Fairways are just ok.

This course has dramatically improved for the better. Fairways are the most improved. Wonderful layout.

After reading reviews I was expecting the worst, however I had a very enjoyable round. The greens were a good speed and true albeit small. Fairways were good and a lot had water in play. Some tees left a little to be desired. Overall it wasn’t quite as good as when both courses were open but still good. I’d go and play again and it’s great value at the price.

I have avoided Pelican for several years due to the deteriorating conditions. And the loss of the South course. But we gave it another l shot today. Let's start by just calling the course and the buildings "tired". But the potential is there to be a great course again. Tee boxes were mostly average but that is the least of the issues since you tee it up anyway. The fairways were actually really nice and green for the most part. No real issue there. But the greens need work. Actually quite a bit of work. About 50% of the greens need total replacement. The other half were OK. Sand traps would be quite good if the staff would rake them with a machine. But still OK. You know a course is struggling without maintenance personnel working on the course. Never saw one. Man. Put some cash into this course and many people would play here. Still a fun day.

Greens were fried. Sand traps not worked. No water offered on course. Mentioned disappointment to staff and was told they just turned bad in a few days. Not sure I believed considering overall condition.

Enjoyable day, conditions were good and course was in better than fair condition, except some of the greens need some TLC.

I would have to say that conditions have improve over the last couple of years. Other than #1 green, the rest were good. Not much grass on the tee boxes, but the fairways are ok. Good value for the money. Not many players, so you can get around pretty quick.

Can definitely see the attention shown to course improvement. Played a local , semi-private course the day prior. Really no comparison! That course had faster greens bit minimal grass, fairways were not close to how good P.B. is. Staff is always TOP NOTCH! If play poorly, score poorly and/or putt poorly.....take lessons and practice. It's not the Staff's fault.

The greens half of them were no grass at all, the remaining was about 3 on the stemp meter, fairways are in fair shape with plenty of grass to hit from. Its the same old story in Florida, Put some money into the course.

No restaurant on site. Pro shop has a few drinks and snacks.

Practice area very nice. Putting green in terrible condition.

Not sure it should even be open. Terrible conditions, unfriendly staff.

Water on every hole many times both sides.

Several greens have burned out spots and many are very nice and plush.
