About
The 18-hole Glen Abbey Golf Club in Debary, FL is a semi-private golf course that opened in 1974. Designed by Dominic Palombo, Glen Abbey Golf Club measures 6661 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 137 and a 72.9 USGA rating. The course features 3 sets of tees for different skill levels. The greens are bermuda grass and the fairways are winter rye.
The Glen Abbey course winds through gently rolling landscapes of sylvan splendor and a 60-acre body of water known as “No-Name” Lake. There are no parallel fairways and all fairways are tree-lined. Water comes into play on eight holes. There are 80 strategically placed bunkers. Crepe myrtle, elderberry and oleander plantings are an aesthetic addition to existing magnolia, oak and towering pines which frame most fairways.

Greens on 15th & 16th holes have little or no grass. The
rest of the course is coming around nicely. I enjoyed it very much.

We had a good time and the staff is very friendly, but the course is not in good shape.

As always a good golf day. No pairing up, no hustle no hassle. Just a nice round on a good day

greens somewhat bumpy, pace of play somewhat slow,staff exceptionally friendly,very accommodating
Getting better
The Course is in much much better shape than it was few weeks ago. It is slways nice to meet the friendly staff and sit in or out with niice people after the game. Thanks for making the day a beauty.
stay away
greens and tees are bare, weedy or very sandy. ball on green bounces, instead of rolling. finding grass in the fairway is minimal. even more weeds in the rough. sandtraps were ok, but high grass along the edges. a good place to practice your swing, but that is it!!!!!!!
Course is in horrible condition
Green were in unacceptable condition, truly unplayable. Tee boxes were a mess, slow play, poor amenities, Extremely disappointed and cannot recommend nor will I return.
The greens are finally starting to improve. The
fairways have definitely gotten better. The staff
is always friendly and helpful and the price is
very fair. I enjoyed my round today but the pace was
pretty slow. Really need a "marshall" driving around
making sur things are moving along as they should.
greens were bumpy.lady signing us in was excellent.carts were even ready for us.as a foursome we felt rushed.many single and double groups behind.nice layout but not as good a condition as other similar priced courses.

Slowest play ever
Great track. Greens were in great condition. Now they are a mess. But the biggest problem is slow play. They let groups of 6 and 7 go off together. And they let ppl tee off on 10 in the middle of the day, so it’s extra backed up at the turn. 5 hours for 18 holes is ridiculous.
