It should be a crime for this course to charge $76 to play here. Course is in HORRIBLE shape. Fair ways are dirt. Real real bad

Golf course not in best condition…spotty grass in fairways…kind of wet!? (Over watering)?

Course layout fun!

Good course that is in pretty good shape. There are some bare spots in the fairways and the greens are super soft but they were rolling good. The only negative was the pace of play. It should not take five hours to play a round of golf. There were a couple marshals out on the course but did nothing to speed up the foursome in front of our group.

I had high hopes for this course. Looked great on paper. Completely unkempt. Don’t waste your time or money.

The positives; pro shop staff friendly. Greens in in pretty nice condition. Pace of play good. (Rangers visible). Roped off areas show an attempt to improve course condition.

The negatives; many bunkers in need of edging and more sand. Fallen trees from storm SEVERAL months ago, still an eyesore. Placer Counties removal of trees / brush on Holes 1+2 is a shame. Water ponds empty or near empty, but bladder installation would be very costly. Why trimming bushes everywhere to take challenge away??? Use those man hours to clean up course.

Played here 3 years ago and was disappointed by how the new owners have let this once pristine golf course go down so badly. Only analogy is like a once beautiful girl got hooked on heroine and has become a junkie. Visited her again because I’ve heard it’s gotten better. Unfortunately, the addiction is hard to kick and was left with more disappointment. Still dead spots all over the course. Bunkers are hard and weeds are still thriving in them. Fairway is non existence as there are numerous dead spots and areas are overgrown like rough. Lakes are dry even after the spring storm. Spoke to the guy in the shop and said they can’t maintain this course because they are way understaff to keep up with the need upkeep of this course. So sad because it’s nestled in such a nice community. Should just build homes if they don’t care about maintain the course. Never going back.

This is a wonderful track. Very difficult, challenging course. I use to love this course and their greens. Unfortunately, they are not keeping it up. The fairways are shot. You can be right in the fairway and be hitting off of dirt. Same with being 1 foot off of the green…you will be hitting off of dirt. They really need to use the high dollar amount they are charging to keep the course up.

The course was in poor condition especially for what they charge on a Sunday morning. Greens had bare spots, grass on tee box was long and a lot of dead or dry spots in the fairways. Not worth the premium price

Course sucked. No grass in fairways. Had to play pick clean and cheat and could hardly find grass to place ball upon.

Played Morgan many times…one of my fav go-Tos but the course is really chewed up and not in good shape. Greens were as expected but all areas surrounding the greens, the tee boxes, and especially fairways were really poor. They punched some fairways but didn’t tell us, and there were mud/GUP everywhere.

First off the staff was very friendly. The pro shop guy and the marshal were the only two we came into contact with but they were very friendly. The price was decent. It was a hot deal from TEE OFF. The course was in horrible shape. Three holes 1,2 and nine were being arriiated and in bad shape. The other holes had patchy and dead grass fairways and bunkers were terrible. The best things were the greens. The rolled true. The outhouses just off the 10th. green were abysmal. They needed extensive cleaning. I used to love coming to play this course but this will probably be my last time coming here.

I'd give 3.5 star overall rating if I could.

Sand traps pathetic most time muddy with weeds.

Over priced in general.

Pro shop Staff can be stuffy

Beautiful environment out on course looks like letting general areas dry up other areas over watered

Greens were good.
