Morgan Creek Golf and Country Club

Last time I played here was 2020 and course was in great condition. Played again this past Sunday and I could not believe how horrible the conditions were. Dead grass everywhere, basically no fairways left, dead spots on geeens, tee boxes all chewed up. Lakes all dried up and what little water there was left, was nasty looking. Worst part is they are still charging normal prices. Definitely not going back.

Course is in poor condition. Fairways are filled with dirt and crabgrass. Greens were pretty good. Some tee boxes also had crabgrass growing. Back 9 was better than the front 9. Lay out is fine. Just needs grass in the fairway.

I can’t believe how awful the course conditions are right now. I hardly ever leave reviews, but it was that bad. Fairways more dirt than grass, bare greens, bad bunkers, torn up tee boxes, etc. such a shame because I really love this track. Definitely not worth the price right now. I hope they figure something out soon.

This place used to be my go to spot in Roseville. Best value for the money. It used to be beautiful. I’ve never seen a course go down the tubes so quickly. Fairways greens everything is just bad. Morgan had entered dog track status. Haste to see it, but won’t be back for quite some time.

So sad to see what this course has become. Don’t even waste your money honestly. Everything is in bad shape and it wouldn’t be worth more then 25 bucks at this point.

Morgan Creek is not in good shape right now, especially the first nine. Quite a few bare spots in the fairways, greens in so-so condition etc. it’s too bad because this is a good track. Pace of play was good. Small bucket of range balls is $8 but their mats are old and worn out, Most other courses are $5 for a small bucket. Back nine is in a little bit better shape.but still wouldn’t recommend this course right now.

Most greens are patchy or mossy. Fairways have large patches of dirt of very thin grass. For the price unacceptable. Layout is good. Bunkers some are ok and some are dismal.

I live nearby and have played here for years. Honestly worst course conditions ever!! Half traps were unplayable. Greens were in terrible shape, and fairways were bare or dying on so many holes.

Very disappointed. Use to be one of my favorites. Fairways were dry. Around the greens we sparse and the greens were choppy and sparse.

Very disappointed. 5 hr round.

Overall course is in very good condition considering the heat. Greens had some fungus. Players its not that hard to repair divots. Be respectful and repai. Thanks

For the price I’m a little disappointed in the condition of the fairways the greens were nice but I hit off dirt more than grass in most fairways. I’d still play it again but it’s going to be a flash deal

Very good greens and Fairways and tee boxes,well marked for distances. The rough was sparse and uneven, clumpy grass and lots of bare ground in it.

The course needs to be maintained much better everywhere. Seems like course has gone to wayside because course is under possible sale for new homes. Very unfortunate. Unmaintained course not worth paying full price. I will not play course again.
