Morgan Creek Golf and Country Club

Front 9 closed so the option to to play the back twice was offered; ok! Not many people out after the big rain so for $18 + golf now fee it was worth it. Course was cart path only (to be expected) so one got muddy going back and forth for distance? clubs. Layout is cool with many undulations near fairways providing visual interest, greens were very puttable. Would happily play again in dry conditions

Lots of rain prior to play but course played great. Drained well, and was in excellent shape.

Morgan Creek is a great track but is not maintained as well as it could be. Greens were exceedingly slow possibly due to the recent rain. Half the ball washers were broken or had no water in them. The piece of play was excellent and there was a marshal on the course. Cart path only however, it seemed dry enough in most areas that they could’ve done the 90° rule although I understand some people will still drive through clearly wet areas and screw up the course. Fairly challenging course but fair.

A lot of muddy areas, the course does not drain well. Far cry from what it use to be.

Been playing this course for years. Course is in decent shape, they have new carts which is great. Staff is friendly and usually pace of play is decent.

However yesterday I was paying and the total seemed off from what was on Golf Now. Was informed by the person working that the owner has now decided to charge fees. My bank doesn’t charge for using my ATM and this seems like another money grab. Very disappointed.

So Golf Pass ask me to rate this course. Here goes. First of all I am a 20 handicapp. The course is difficult for me. Many undulations and for me uneven lies. Too make things more difficult the organization (use that loosely) has recently punched greens and generally under maintenance. Pace of play can be slow and Marshall's are useless. I only play here if I can get in under $35 because it is semi maintained and peaceful. Staff is ok and I dont use there food drink area because it is expensive and unavailable at times. Summary: No way I would pay any more than $35 to play here.

For some reason the conditions on the course aren’t great right now. Lots of patchy areas, somehow both dry and muddy in some spots. Interesting layout though and fun to play.

Time to sell this dump to developers. Everything about the course is in decline. It’s like they fired the greens keeper years ago and are paying a kid to cut what’s left of the grass once a month. Carts are garage sale rejects, traps are cement, dead fallen trees left to rot in fairways, and a range that looks like it should have old rotten cars in it rusting in the sun! Be ready for a 6 hour round with marshals that do nothing but drink their coffee as the wave to you driving by. To top it off they have upped the price!!! $60 for a weekday/cart. OMG, I feel bad for anyone living on this garbage dump of a golf course.

Staff fantastic, course average soft Fairways&greens, pace of play average, but over priced for course conditions.

and thought, Daaaaang, this otta be goooood! Putting green was real nice. They we setting up for a wedding! So we drove off the first TV and began to notice the grounds and areas around the greens and I’m sorry I was not impressed with this course at all. I drove 30 minutes to get there from Auburn, so many nice courses up there within 10 minutes of my house. Fortunately I will not be back and neither will my three other friends that played with me.

Course could be great, but it isn't its average, maintenance is average, bunkers below average (no sand). carts are on their last leg. Every cart has tape covering holes and splits in the seats. Cart sounded like it was gonna fall apart at any moment all kinds of squeaks and rattles like every screw and bolt is loose. Its like nobody cares here.
