pleasantly surprised. played here a year or two ago in the Winter, lots of bare ground. this time a lot better. pretty solid fairways for January, greens were excellent. had no one in front of us, we played as fast as we could go no waiting. added bonus- lost some prescription glasses. next day another patron turned them in. interesting layout too.

All staff very friendly and course was in good shape. It is a tough layout and demands precise shot making. Lots of undulations and bunkers. Greens are well protected.

Pace of play was horrendous. Marshall’s appear to only be driving around and not addressing playing who are out just being straight assclowns. Ie hitting from the tips and not making it past the blue tees, waiting for the greens to clear before hitting 2d shots, reputting on the greens after clearing holes while players are in the fairway waiting to hit on. Marsahalls stated players are spaced apart appropriately. Not sure what course he was on. It was absolutely ridiculous. Two groups had to skip 3 holes for this foolery. Course is too pricey for this type of nonsense.

It certainly wasn’t the course’s fault. It was in great shape, the fairways were generous and the greens rolled true. My driver hates me most of the time. My putter is like the girl who only wants to hook up when I have something she wants.. If the Tubes wrote a song about her it would be called Fickle Mistress. I’ll be back soon!

Was in town for a day and was able to book a round in the morning. Didn't have my clubs so they let me borrow a lefty set at no charge, which was appreciated. Overall a good course and challenging due to the hilly nature. Would play there again if I'm in town.

This course has everything, water, sand traps, forced carries, left to right and right to left. Play this course a few times a year and really enjoy it. Has a high slope rating because of what I said above. You have to hit it straight and hit your locations. It’s a very nice course, fairways and greens are in great shape, sand traps are good but the tee boxes need some work. You will enjoy this course.

I've played here many times, and lately was disappointed that they appeared to be falling behind on maintenance, greens and fairways were in rough shape.

However, I played yesterday and was pleasantly surprised at the conditions of both fairways and greens. Very nice, no major bare spots in fairways or pockmarks on the greens like before.

Will definitely put this course back into my rotation of courses to play.

The lady in the pro shop was great, really friendly. The course was in great condition, greens a little fast. Enjoyed it and will return for sure.

Very Nice golf course and compatible with Whitney Oaks, plays quite a bit longer from the blue and yellow tee boxes. Course conditions are excellent considering the winter conditions, greens are perfect! Definitely play this course again in the near future!!

even after the ice melted and i thawed off this course was great.. dont trust these reviews complaining about sand and grass.. stay out of the sand, enjoy the area and as long as you have fun stop complaining and play golf.. so theres a slower group or pace of play is slow (which i never had a problem with) not everybody is a tour pro Shooter give em a break cuz its not the slow group or the people searching for their balls that makes golf not fun.. its you.. @budhitsthegreen

Not the same course I played in the past. The carts are showing wear and tear, holes in the seats, gps removed, etc. The course was a little muddy in places, but not bad considering the recent recent rains. We were halfway down the first fairway before we were yelled at; telling us the entire course was “cart path only” and to get off the fairway immediately.

Believe me, this is not the the type of course for old guys to to be playing cart path only. We struggled through nine holes and quit.
