About
The Deltona Club holds the distinction of being ranked as one of the top 20 public golf courses in Florida. The club has roots that date back to the late 1950s. It is a remake of one of the state's earliest planned communities. Bobby Weed redesigned the golf course, improving its aesthetic appeal and giving it more playability. The course sprawls across rolling hills that provide dramatic elevation changes throughout. It is a far cry from the many flat public courses that exist throughout Florida. The natural contours of the terrain helped determine the strategic placement of the numerous bunkers, many of which were added during Weed's renovation. The Deltona Club's parkland layout has an interesting mix of holes with some that even have the feel of a links course.

Golfer Reviews
Sand Everywhere
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Course layout had several waste bunkers on each hole. Fairways were OK for February but greens had sparse grass and some were very bumpy. Hard to get consistent roll on putts.
Greens
Greens a bit inconsistent and extremely slow. Space the same put would break two different ways at times
I’ve played this course at least 20 to 30 times. The fairways were thin with weeds growing everywhere. The greens which at one time were very good are on the verge of being lost. What a shame, great layout. It was my favorite course.
Sand everywhere
No water at all, huge sand traps all around. Course was in rough shape. Pace was fast but bearable. Staff was attentive and friendly. There was a golf tournament and party going on a perfect 72 degree Saturday in February. I would go back, because it is laid back and not Country Club like. Good value.
It's ok
They are doing a lot of work on the course so it is not in as good shape as it has been. Sanding a lot of the greens and tee boxes. This makes the conditions a little rough, but in the long run, it will make it more playable.
Worse Course
My husband and I have played golf all over the United States. All price ranges. We have never played a course in worse condition and seriously doubt that one exists.
Good value for the money
Sand traps and bunkers are everywhere. The greens need some TLC. Overall, decent course to play at.
First time.
Arrived early went to check in to get some range balls.
The guy at the desk said I was to early and couldn’t check in yet. I said fine a will do it later after I hit range balls. He charged me and gave me a token to get the balls.. I asked for a golf cart …. He said again I can’t check you in yet.. I said fine but I am not carrying my clubs and balls over to the driving range nor is my wife.
He then gave me a key so I could use the cart. Just not polite to customer…..
Greens were a little long. Fairways were cut short and dry. No water hazard on course but a few fairway bunkers….
Thought they could of had drinking water on the course.
rough track
tough track, and alot of large bunkers, I would consider playing Zellwood or Victora Hills.
