About
The Deltona Club holds the distinction of being ranked as one of the top 20 public golf courses in Florida. The club has roots that date back to the late 1950s. It is a remake of one of the state's earliest planned communities. Bobby Weed redesigned the golf course, improving its aesthetic appeal and giving it more playability. The course sprawls across rolling hills that provide dramatic elevation changes throughout. It is a far cry from the many flat public courses that exist throughout Florida. The natural contours of the terrain helped determine the strategic placement of the numerous bunkers, many of which were added during Weed's renovation. The Deltona Club's parkland layout has an interesting mix of holes with some that even have the feel of a links course.

Golfer Reviews
Very nice layout
I love the layout and elevation changes here. That being said, the condition of the greens is just average at best right now. I would still recommend this course.
Big fan but the conditions are slipping.
I love this course, and will be back. It has been in much better shape in the past, and I hope it can improve. The fairways were patchy and the greens inconsistent. Some were bumpy and most were very slow, while a few were fast in places and slow in others.
The staff here are the greatest, and my group did have a good time.
Consider winter time dormancy all around. Course was in real playable shape
Not in great shape
The course is not in great shape. Quite a few of the greens have some sort of fungus that makes putting really difficult. The fairways are thin in a lot of places. Quite a few of the tea boxes are chewed up and have very little grass. The course is about three stars at best. I love the layout, but the prices they’re charging do not reflect the course conditions. This time of year that golf course should be packed. The day we played it was not busy at all. So that shows that people do not want to pay those prices for sub par conditions. Hopefully they get it together and do some proper maintenance or they could lose the greens all together. I can’t recommend the golf course at this time. Hopefully they’ll lower the rate so they can get people to play there.
Staff is always friendly. Layout is one of the best in central Florida. Greens were a little slow as they had not been cut and fairways are a little thin in some spots. But based on the price and layout- deltona is worth playing.
It keeps getting better
The course is looking great with the rolling hills and the beautiful fairways/greens. Can't wait to play again! It
First time here
I used a golf pass coupon to visit this course. I played with some locals who helped me navigate the course. No water but lots of bunkers and waste areas. Back was slow due to father/son scramble. Overall, I liked the course.
Nice day.. good time and great staff we just really need to concentrate on getting them greens in better shape and the tea boxes need a lot of work
Have a great time enjoy the staff and the course layout we need to concentrate on getting the greens and better condition and the tea boxes need a lot of work.. having said that for the money and staff kindness It's a good way to spend the afternoon
Enjoyable round
Started the round in drizzle with threat of rain nobody ahead of us until 12 th hole then is slowed to a crawl
Fairways in reasonable shape. Greens appear to have some spots with a fungus or infestation that they are trying to correct
Lots of sand and elevation changes that you don’t normally see in Florida courses
Overpriced for condition
The course is a challenging layout but could use some better maintenance. In my opinion the condition are 3 stars right now. The fairways are thin in a lot of places, the greens are inconsistent and many of the tee boxes are rough. A little overpriced for the condition.
Staff is friendly, layout is terrific and greens are in good shape. Fairways and bunkers are playable. For the price, it is well worth playing.
