About
The Deltona Club holds the distinction of being ranked as one of the top 20 public golf courses in Florida. The club has roots that date back to the late 1950s. It is a remake of one of the state's earliest planned communities. Bobby Weed redesigned the golf course, improving its aesthetic appeal and giving it more playability. The course sprawls across rolling hills that provide dramatic elevation changes throughout. It is a far cry from the many flat public courses that exist throughout Florida. The natural contours of the terrain helped determine the strategic placement of the numerous bunkers, many of which were added during Weed's renovation. The Deltona Club's parkland layout has an interesting mix of holes with some that even have the feel of a links course.

Golfer Reviews
Review
liked the course. I played there a few times and everytime the pace of play was slow. seams like the course books tee times too close together. Liked that the food area was open. Alot of golf courses dont have anything to eat other then candy. Nice to have real food at the turn. Overall a good place to golf
Showing Some Wear
I’ve played her several times and always enjoyed the round.
Layout is great and has plenty of challenges but is forgiving enough for every golfer. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. Pace of play is what you should expect during peak golf season with plenty of snow birds in town.
The course is showing neglect unfortunately. Tee boxes are in tough shape and the greens are spotty. A lot of weeds taking over some fairways. The clubhouse is modest but serves the purpose of a cold drink and facilities.
Definitely playing again. Hoping they do some grounds work.
Course condition
Great value for the price especially considering the rates other courses are charging considering their condition. The greens are in good shape. The fairways could used some grass. This is a challenging course.
A nice Saturday round.
Great time with friends out at Deltona. It’s not like the other courses around. It has some undulation and some elevated tee boxes. Course conditions were good. Back 9 in better condition than the front 9 in my opinion. Greens roll well but on the slower side. Tee boxes were good. Sand traps were good. Fairways are thin in spots, likely due to the cold we have had recently. Quaint mom and pop feel to the clubhouse. Driving range and chipping and putting areas available. Overall, for $50 teeing off in the AM it’s worth it even just for its layout. I will be going back for sure. I hope you do give the course a try because it’s a good one.
Nice course
Overall layout was pretty sweet. Lots of elevation changes with narrow fairways. Fairways we’re not to great and the greens had thick grain so tough reads but hey it’s golf but definitely going to play again sometime soon.
