Deltona Club

Took my my wife who is a beginner. The course layout from the front tees is not too intimidating. She was able to hit green on pars three and bogey them. The green were recently sanded so the were very slow but playable

front nine my assigned partner and I made it through 9 in 1 hour and 40 minutes. at the turn we waited twenty minutes and were joined by the two some from behind. It took three hours to play the back. I don't know if they sent out groups off the back or what, no ranger was ever seen on the back, but saw him once on the front.

Course is in good shape, it’s a fun layout and the staff is good. Holy smokes last 2 times playing the pace of play is crazy. 2 weeks ago got caught behind a pile up late in the round behind 3-4 groups waiting on a 6-some playing slowly. This time we were 5 groups deep waiting a a group of 5 that were likely the worst golfers you’ve seen. We jumped ahead 2 holes to get in front of the group. Absolutely crazy.

Decent shape. Tee boxes great, sand is good. Greens coming back from reseed, will be better in a couple of weeks. Go 1/2 club more on #9 par 3. ⛳️

It cost my wife and me $107.00 to play Deltona. I don't mind paying for a nice course but Deltona doesn't come close to nice. The fairways are hard with no turf to hit from and the greens, covered in sand were incredibly slow. If the greens had recently been aerated I could understand sandy greens but there was no evidence of aeration. There are numerous bunkers throughout the course so sooner or later you'll be in a bunker. There are no rakes to mend the sand and often times your ball will be sitting in a footprint.

I did not enjoy golfing there. If I'm going to spend that kind of money to play, I'll gladly travel a little further for a nicer.course and conditions.

Pace of play was great, until we caught up to everyone playing behind a group of 6, that were playing together mid-day on Sunday... Course was in good shape, enjoy the lay-out especially the back 9.

Starter was non existent and multiple groups of twosomes going out. Was backed up from the start and never got better. Would be a better rating if the starter did his job and controlled the pace of play!
