Valley at Marriott's Desert Springs Resort

The Valley course is a great layout for all levels of golfer. From tee to green it is in great shape. The greens, however, were bumpy and appeared to have some kind of fungus.

Sand traps were really poor. No sand , like hitting from your driveway. They decided to CLOSE the driving range right before we arrived so they could mow it. What’s wrong with mowing early a.m. or late afternoon when it’s not being used. Greens were in rough condition. Not a course to play right now!

Our 4-some was somehow booked onto the different courses. So were rushed out, no time to putt, range, order beverages, get extra waters. We only had one bottle water each in the bags to start,, anticipating some course services. No ice, no water, cart gal service on 5th hole, nothing the remainder of round. Hungry, thirsty, no water....

Limited staffing. The staff that is here is very friendly and helpful.

Still beautiful and a fun layout

We've played this course many times, and overall, found it to be a good round. However, the greens were surprisingly less than good, white blotches in mid-winter is below par for this area.

Women have difficulty hitting far and I strongly suggest you trim fairways to make it a bit more receptive to their teebox.

The course is very well maintained, fairways are very undulating making it more challenging. Unfortunately, the greens are slow because just got sanded. Lots of water holes making the course very attractive.

Course ia in immaculate condition. Only problems were it was jammed up, we waited on every hole to shoot - hate that. No cart girl seen, I even called the pro shop, we were thirsty and hungry. It's so beautiful and nice though I guess next time ill bring some drinks in my bag, it beats eating ice out of the attached cooler

This course was very challenging in some holes. If you're used to playing from the white tees it feels very short. Overall this course was amazing from the green fairways to the challenges in each hole very fun.

Perfect condition! From the fairways to the ruff. I enjoyed my round.

They appear to be under-staffed. Don’t expect the level of service you get at other courses at this price. The greens were not over-seeded just sanded. Rough condition.

Beautiful course, not a patch of brown anywhere. Greens were very fast but would hold an approach shot. Groomed perfectly.

Fantastic spot. Always great conditions and both courses worth playing.
