About
Desert Springs Resort boasts two championship courses designed by Ted Robinson, the Palms and the Valley. The golf courses are known for their beautiful setting, offering unrivaled views of the Santa Rosa Mountains and the Coachella Valley. The Valley Course is considered the less challenging of the two, but both offer a stunning landscape covered with swaying palms and blue lagoons. The course features player-friendly fairways that beginners will enjoy, but there are also a fair amount of challenges. Like on the Palms Course, there is plenty of water. Between the two golf courses, more than 35 acres of water features come into play in the form of man-made lakes and streams. In addition to the two courses, Desert Springs also offers an 18-hole putting course, which offers all the same challenges as the other courses including bunkers, water hazards, and undulating fairways.

Slow play
Play was slow, especially the front nine. Did pick up some on the back. Disappointed to not see a Marshall on the course on a Sunday.
No attempt by the property restaurants to provide service. Played the Valley course. No way to drive in to pick up a to go order. Seems they would arrange to have someone deliver on the course.
Otherwise love the course. Fun and can be challenging if you miss your targets.
Will play again. Greens were different for me. They were brown in color , The attendant indicated they overseed everything except the greens. I guess I don't understand the thinking of that process.
Great Wednesday for golf
Course is well designed, with ample room for your tee shots. Fairways are undulating, but very fair. Greens are also designed well, with bunkers coming into to play throughout the course. Course is well worth playing, and we had a great time. Very limited amenities with the recently mandated shut down in effect.
Nice course
Unorganized
We had to wait for powercarts to come in from players finishing.
Scheduled tee time was delayed 20 minutes
Only got to finish 16 holes
Way to crowded due only one course being open, so it was worn out with wear and tear. Waited 5 - 7 minutes on every hole
Highly recommended!
My wife and I and another couple had a great time playing the Valley course. Sadly our cart did run out of power and we were stranded on 9th fairway backing people up but we managed. Staff were all very nice. The track was beautiful and we would return.

Nice course,
Of the two, I like the Palm course better but the Valley is still nice. We played the front nine in 1.5 hrs. But they sent some twosomes and singles off the back that clogged it up some. Still finished in 3.5 hrs
