Valley at Marriott's Desert Springs Resort

Course was in fantastic condition. The views of the course and the mountains were incredible.

Overall this is a great course. It's September, the end of a hot summer and the course was in great shape. Everything including the tees, fairways, rough and greens were great. I didn't see any burnt spots.

The driving range is also great. Hitting good range balls off of grass, not plastic.

My only issue is the pace of play. This seems to happen at these Hotel courses. Some of the foursomes in front of us were super slow. Maybe they could get a marshall out there to encourage them along.

Great course. Great place to Stay and Play. Stayed and Played many times. Try to get a Villa on the course. Highly recommended.

I was really excited to play this course. Heard nothing but good things for condition and also challenging. I was excited up until I was checking in when they notified me the greens had been punched. Usually there’s a disclaimer or alert when you are booking a reservation on GolfNow when the greens have been punched. I was disappointed by both GolfNow and the course. Unfortunately there was nothing I could do, I ended up playing and the greens were terrible. There were no breaks or reads that were true. It was pointless once you got on the green. All you could do is try to get it as close to the hole as possible or hope that it carried one of the grooves from the punching machine into the hole. Overall terrible experience.

Good course... open fairways with rolling hills. Able to hit driver on almost all par 4s. Greens were slow today, as it appears they were punched a couple of weeks ago.

Friendly staff and nice facilities

Rode the Blacks (6627/71.9/130) 2H, 45M super twilight. Conditions were clear, fairly calm and in the low 100's.

The Bermuda tees were lush and nicely maintained. Level with hardly any unfixed divots.

The Bermuda fairways were mostly lush and well maintained, nice to play from.

The Bermuda rough is decent. Close to the fairways is long enough for the ball to sit down. Away from the fairways you could get hardpan to calf deep.

The sand traps were mediocre. Nicely raked but many are thin.

The Bermuda greens putted medium speed and were relatively smooth. Mostly healed from a recent vericutt, they were firm with few ball marks because of the firmness.

The customer service was very good as usual here. Ample water stations every few holes on the course, but no on course beverage cart today. Carts have GPS. Fun course in very playable condition for mid summer. Recommended.

Greens are in really rough shape, can’t putt from angles. Aeration really messed them up

Punched entire course. Was told but a rooster tail of sand while putting is a bit much. Was moved to other course by staff and then had a 6.5 hr round. I was beyond mad.

First time at this course but worth the wait. The Course was in fantastic condition and represented just the right number of challenges. We will be back.

First impressions really matter and the cart driver at the bag drop what a tool. Even the help at the pro shop make u feel like ur lucky to be there. I have golfed all over Palm Springs area and this is by far the rudest staff. The starter was pleasant tho.

And side note. We did the valley course and the amount of people and especially kids walking around on the course was extremely unnerving. While that may not be directly responsible of the course I’m sure the hotel doesn’t discourage against it.

Too bad course was in great shape. But won’t do it again because of this.

First time playing here. Lachlan was a very friendly upbeat guy. Gave. Us a deal we couldn’t refuse. Course was in great condition. Every green was consistent, very green out there too given we are on the brink of summer. Great experience

Two great courses Valley and Palm both in very good condition. GolfNow makes value of play very affordable!

The course is beautiful and challenging. The greens are not quite what they should be but the course is in great shape. Carts have GPS which is so great... we will be back!
