On arriving I was told by the pro that I was being paired up and so would have to pay a surcharge for my wife to drive the buggy, only the second time ever in 25 years. Turned out I was not paired up but was just sent to the 1st tee with a quick " on your own". I had used the practice area and green which were very poor and not easy to find. Overall the entire course was scruffy, with even less definition than usual. It didn't help that staff were testing irrigation that day and kept on turning it on and of as you were playing and if you got soaked with pond water then too bad because they certainly were not going to apologise, typical of the attitude towards visitors here. Just as well that this was a relatively cheap course at his time of year but nothing to compare with Riverwood and Bobcat Trail, save your money and go to them to enjoy your golf.

I did not find out they were over seeding until I arrived. There are places on GolfNow to share that information, but the course chose not to. That was one of two disappointing things. The other was the amount of water on the course (hence the over seeding). There were several spots where the ground was so soft you would sink in with every step. Unplayable locations were part of most holes because of the excess water on the course. The grass in the tee boxes and fairways was almost as long as the rough (again, hence the over seeding). These were less than ideal conditions to play in. Otherwise, I did enjoy the course. It is fairly tight, but still plenty okay for beginners. Once the over seeding is complete, I would think this would be a very nice course to play.

Front nine has tight fairways. Requires straight tee shots, back nine has longer holes and wider fairways. Greens were a little slow, fairways were in great shape. If I were looking for a course membership I would consider this course.

Traps were dirt and not sand and also had many rocks. Fairways were thin and greens were small and bumpy

We liked the course, but would have liked it more,
if we did not have to stay on the cart path.We were
told this after we had paid, Somewhat disappointing,
as we had an elderly visitor with us and he found that
there was to much walking involved, at the end of
the round, he was exhausted and so were we, it was
a very hot day. If we had known that the fairways
had been just seeded, we would not have played on that day.

With the infusion of money from the Neal Real Estate company, this course is being refined on a regular basis. The layout is mostly Old Florida, but not in a negative way. The holes are varied, and there is enough risk reward on the course to make it fun. Even though the course is not long, it does require reasonably straight shots. Today, the greens were sanded, which meant inconsistent putting. Hopefully, the rain that followed will settle down that sand for the future

I am an 16 handicap and short 79 for the first time , so you know I have nothing to say but good things about this course. I also short in the nineties at this course but it is a great place to play. Bill.

Overall condition is great and staff was very friendly.
Need to play strategic tee shots, may not want to hit driver all the time. Greens are on the smaller side but in excellent shape.
Will play again.

I love playing this course. It's fairways are like a carpet and also the greens. The rough was wet because of rain but you shouldn't be there anyway.. Love it!!!

So I will start by saying the course is nice, challenging and fun.

My review is off the starter alone. It started when I pulled in, I heard him say "he's not a member, he has no clue where he's going". This was followed by him just driving the cart to me and walking away. No small talk, no asking if help was needed, nothing. Next, I book early because I when I play with no else I like to be out and in fairly quickly. He has regulars there, so he sends me off 10. That's fine, except when I finished the back, I was in traffic for the front.

The only problem I had with the course was, because the starter sent me off the back, I was playing against the lawn team. I had 2 holes with no flags up due to the greens still needing to be cut.

Like I said the course was great. If I wouldn't have had that starter, I would Probally play here again.

We found a fantastic deal thru Golf Now, we got a 7:52 tee time for $18 each. all the other tee times were $38. The course was great, but it had rained hard the night before and we were cart paths only.. but not a problem. the course was lush, the holes were interesting and it seemed like we had the entire golf course to ourselves... no one slowing us down, no one pushing us.. the experience was truly enjoyed by all 4 of us!

Great value! Course has improved vastly form a couple years ago. However, there were some rough areas and some greens that looked like they had a problem from my last round three months ago. Course is a little tight with all the trees. I enjoy the challenge.
