An excellent round of golf. Views from the course were outstanding. Friendly clubhouse with great menu.
Visited Holyhead golf course while on a weeks holiday in Anglesey. Stunning course with great views. The greens were some of the best I had seen and with the wet weather we have had there were only a few boggy areas which were barely noticeable. Course layout itself was a challenge and a few holes need a straight tee shot to avoid any danger. The 10th also needs your tee shot to be left side of the marker in order to have a shot at the green. Members very friendly but the only let down was when I was in the pro shop waiting to sign in, the gentlemen behind the counter was on the phone to a friend and made me wait until he’d finished his conversation before serving me. Other then that I would highly recommend the course and will be coming back again
Wonderful course
Played this course for the first time today, greens are fantastic and fairways are challenging for every level of golfer.
Staff are very friendly and welcoming also so are the members we came across.
Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.
Course in great condition and welcome good despite Covid restrictions. Certainly a challenge for first time visitor
Great course
A very well laid out course using all the natural contours of the land, a few blind holes which make you think but from tee to green the course was well prepared and presented. The greens were quick but fair and with the recent overnight rains they were receptive.
Plenty to offer as you would expect from a links course with great panoramic views and varied use of clubs used of the tee, definitely not a course to keep pulling out the big stick. Staff and members very welcoming and valued the feedback from the visitors.
Well done all at Holyhead GC, we hope to see you again soon!
Have friends that have played here and they told me how good it was so I had to try it and it was excellent, I will return soon with more friends.
A course to think about
Greens were in excellent condition. Each hole is very different with good shot selection off the tee.
Great Course
Only downside was no food as their in-between Caterers

Good course that challenges your nerve at the end of the round.
Course in good nick. Easterly breeze which turned the index's around. Have played the course a number of times now; and it was well presented.
The first nine is more open. The back nine narrows to a very challenging finish; with a few blind drives that test your mettle.
Enjoyable
Played here in early May and considering the bad weather we have had it was in good condition with just a few damp patches dotted around.
The course has a good layout with some fantastic views, not the easiest of knocks but very enjoyable.
Will definitely return !!!
Stunning views
One of the best courses on Anglesey,staff very friendly and helpful and the course is in good condition,if your playing for the first time best to get a course planner as there are a few blind shots.
You will not be disappointed playing Holyhead

The course was excellent and very enjoyable but a few too many blind shots for a first time.
The clubhouse was very tired.
